Maybe you should get out more. I ordered a #1 Whataburger and a small Coke yesterday, without fries

This is dumb. The meal costs the same or less than that. Should always get the combo

People only say that if they haven't been to the Little America gas stations in Wyoming. Plus you will never have to wait for a stall there.

Not really

Get the burger (sans bun)
Drop the Coke
Drop the Fries

Protein but drops Sugar, Fats, and Carbs

As you get old Da Beetus comes for all of us. Better start early on focusing on what your body wants, not what corporations want to sell you. Had a friend with a Coke habit that cost him a leg and he is still drinking Coke.

Paid $24 for a lb of brisket and skipped the carbs but I was a bit peeved they don't have the onions and jalapenos added to the sliced brisket. Was $9 per chicken tender meal for my kids but they devoured those in short time and I'd rather give my money to Buc-ee's over McDonald's.

It’s still good but their prices have increased a lot over the years especially since they decided to expand outside of Texas.

Which was a bad decision IMO

I just feel pity for people who have so little of actual substance in their lives that they align even a portion of their identity with a brand of anything, much less a fricking gas station.

Their brisket is mass produced and pedestrian at any price.

I just shake my head and chortle at the people who put buccees stickers on their cars and wear their merchandise.

I had my husband stop at a Buc-ees for the brisket two weeks ago. He was so shocked by he price of one sandwich that he instead bought a pound of meat,
He got home and had stopped at the grocery for four buns. The meat didn't go that far. He liked the flavor of the sauce and didn't like the meat.
I thought the sauce was way too sweet for my taste and (having lived in Texas for a decade,)I was wanting the flavor of the meat to dominate. It didn't dominate, I'm not sure I tasted the meat, just the sauce.

I was majorly disappointed.

Yesterday I got the chicken burrito on the return trip. Huge burrito and only $7. One of the best burritos I've ever had

Yeah you can save almost 20 cents on a tank. So worth it to drive through a parking lot of 200 cars trying to maneuver into parking spaces or fuel pumps.

You know that pre-made trash chicken salad sandwiches in regular gas stations are about $7 right? And you’re complaining about brisket for $8.50?
