Agreed. Had it happened.

Wouldn't it depend on the story? In 2019, she accused several white boys of holding her down, and yelling racist things at her and assaulting her. AT MINIMUM, had it been true they'd have been expelled from school.

Why shouldn't her punishment reflect more closely the potential ramifications those she accused would have had to face had she been telling the truth? Isn't that imbalance precisely why these things keep happening...that there is little to no repercussions for accusing someone of something which could potentially destroy their lives?

And good luck getting into a decent college if your name is on the internet as a known racist. Good luck getting a decent job as well.

You think it's any coincidence that this school just so happens to be where the Vice President's wife teaches part-time?

I haven't kept up with this story, so I don't know...but did they try to piggy-back this thing into a negative story for the President/Vice President?

All I can think of when reading the word "nappy" here is Dave Chapelle saying in his special that white people don't talk the way Jessie claimed they did. This sounds like a word more often used BY black folks, not directed towards any by white people.

But...I'm open to being wrong.

Yeah...I thought this was pretty easy to see. No white kids are calling anyone's hair nappy.

Sound familiar?

Yea, shockingly she hasn't posted yet now that it's fake. She was burning up her fricking Twitter in the lead up to this.

She is a news person at a fricking TV station and never once used the word "allegedly"

That's a fireable offense at any legit media outlet.

Will be interested to see her method of backtracking.

Sincere apology?
Blame outside influences (Trump)?
At least she started a conversion?
It's her truth?

There’s a fricking surprise.

To think people in that thread were upset if you didn’t believe this.

Even though these stories have been proven false about 100% of the time.

If you are intentionally lying about someone committing murder, you are trying to take their life away. You should have your life taken away.

ETA:

And I don't mean death penalty since you didn't murder someone, but you should get a life sentence with a possibility of parole.

Fair? Y’all would honestly love the Middle East justice

Lying about rape is fricked up. However, it isn’t nearly as barbaric nor heinous as actual rape

Y’all are arguing for whataboutism to be included in the justice system

Would you rather get raped once in the butt or spend 20 years in the federal pen (where lots of more rape could happen)?

Serious question...
