This national story was not about a little girl.

I know it's ridiculous on the surface, but seriously, answer it.
Rape is absolutely heinous. Having your life taken away and being thrown into a dungeon for 20 years for something you didn't do is pretty equally heinous.

Perjury is not all equal. Perjury, from a sane person, that is the core "evidence" that essentially ends someone's life should be treated as one of the more heinous crimes there is.
And I will never be convinced otherwise.
It requires an evil person to stand in a courtroom, look at an innocent person, lie about something they've done, and understand you are ending their life for no good reason.
That is abhorrent and vile.
