Kid lied, parents assumed kid was not lying, now parents are mortified their kid sullied their good names.
The courts can punish my kid, but you're damn right I'd have them out there for at least 1,000 hours of community service.

During the investigation of the girl's accusations, security camera video showed where people were at the time of the alleged attack, the family's attorney said, and it became clear the girl's account could not be true based on the day and time she said it happened.

Anyone who doesn't understand why "reporting" this as fact before it is confirmed (other than just basic journalistic integrity) go back and read the comments on this interview.

To be clear....I don't hate the little girl, kids do crazy things, its always been up to parents to be patient and teach them the right way. Hell shes exposed to this type of shite daily in the news.
WHAT I DO I HATE is the way the media report it as fact, then move on when it is proven as a hoax....Look at the hate and disgust this type of shite creates

Yeah, I'm wondering if people did talk shite to her about them and that was the reason she went for her hair, maybe it was convenient. I remember being in 6th grade, and some of the shite I said to people about their looks.
I figure she would have attempted some attention grab scheme anyways, but that was easy for her. Shes just a lazy and horrible liar.
