A pull-up? Is the kid not potty trained? How is a 6 year old allowed to go to school not potty trained. Hell, mine couldn’t go to preschool without being potty trained.

The stories I've heard are very similar to Chipand2Putts summary. The only additional nugget of information is the child and her mom actually live in Mississippi and were using a cousins address to attend Zachary. The kid shouldn't even have been in the school district to begin with....

Following rules and being responsible is seen as optional for a sector of society, so not having their kid potty trained is of no concern for them.

These are the same type parents who will send kids to school sick with fever and then complain the kid gets sent home.

Welcome to public school in south LA, where parents offload parenting to schools

I see the community agitators are on this case now. Looking for a payday, typical.

I've got two kids with multiple allergies. Both have dairy allergies and knew long before the age of 6 what they could and couldn't have. This is just terrible parenting

So you've got a parent that barely parents and doesn't live in the district trying to destroy this poor lady's life for a payday. So many things about this make me angry

Child knew she had a dairy allergy and drank milk anyway. She went to the bathroom multiple times. While making her clean up the mess is wrong, doing something you know will make you sick the question is why? To get out of class? To get out of school for the day? There’s more here…. Maybe the kid didn’t like the teacher.

Damn...that's going to cause some further splintering if they signed off on this being worthy of a felony charge.

The mess they made her clean up was her feces that she smeared all over the bathroom walls. If this child is growing up thinking that's okay, she doesn't have much chance in this world. Her garbage parents should have been sterilized before we got anywhere close to this point.

No shite. I have a nephew the same and he’s allergic to damn near everything. His parents taught him the things he could and could not eat.

Looks like shitty parenting will get awarded once again.

Except she didn’t. She went to the bathroom one time and was sent to the office, where she intentionally smeared feces on the wall.

I think ZPD only pursued after pressure from NAACP, but I don’t have direct knowledge of that.

Many federal government employees have responded to return-to-work orders in similar fashion.

So it appears a Commissioner Guillory approved the warrant. I didn't even realize that commissioners could do that...

They can, but to be clear the bar to clear for getting an affidavit warrant approved isn’t very high. Also, the DA’s office could choose to no bill this, which is what should be done.
