I just question how they “take the temperature” of the planet. I’ve worked in thermal satellite calibration studies, and though they’re excellent at taking relative temperature, a measure of absolute temperature was very difficult. Emissivity is a bitch.

I don't have a party. That's the issue I'm pointing out. I believe in science. My political views, which vary greatly depending on the issue, have nothing to do with it.

I posted easily found graphs that dispute the narrative. They want to reduce our standard of living by moving away from the cheapest, effective form of energy we have,oil, gas and coal. The same cabal resits nuclear which could do the most to move us away from fossil fuels, but they don't like that either.

They do like taking your money for windmill and solar boondoggles though. Notice how they go broke when the government money runs out? Same thing during Carters administration. Who is doing that to us? Democrats.

That's not an unreasonable concern and we'd both agree a source of uncertainty. Enough to throw out the temperature data entirely? Plus, we've had a decent spread of weather stations to get ground readings for decades.

Gotta give you credit though, that's bringing up an actual source of error and questions the scientist types actually must consider.
