Nobody does this

Oh, absolutely they do. We still have a lot of glaciers locally and you wouldn't believe the idiotic remarks regarding climate change and icefields I hear.

When people are informed the area at sea level was once under about 3000' of ice, it blows their minds.

Ok. I don't care about the opinions of retards that don't know that the Earth has had ice ages multiple times.

Oh, we absolutely can. It’ll take a massive population reduction that will never happen.

Wasn't a study posted recently saying population will soon be on a decline that will go on for a very long time?

I believe in climate change, however its routinely exaggerated for political purposes.

I agree with this. It's obvious climate change is being used to exert control and for political gain. But the politics and science are not mutually exclusive. They can be right, which I think they are to a certain extent. They just overplay their hand.

So you’re saying the earth hasn’t had multiple ice ages?

Hmmmmm

A party hack.

I think I've been pretty obvious that I disagree with the "scientists are lying" nonsense being pushed by the right, who, coincidentally, have a lot of ties to oil and factories.

Heard something about that study but haven’t read it. I’d assume that the pop decrease would be very slow and very gradual

I’m talking 60-75% of the earth disappearing TOMORROW. Dead. Gone. Buhbye. (Which would bring its own problems with the massive amount of decaying matter) Basically what I’m saying is any affect humans have on the planet is due to our sheer numbers, not what what we’re doing.

Is that like when somebody says a city has an All-Time Low Temperature for a day? Everybody just neglects to remember that this whole thing used to be covered in a layer of ice.

There wasn't a city there when it was covered in ice.

yes. The growth rate is dropping rapidly and should go negative by 2060-2070

Gotcha. That's probably more than half the population.

Well, depends on what causes it. Is the population going to lower in 3rd world countries Bc they join the 1st world, which comes with a lower birth rate.

Or is it because they bred so much that they basically stripped the place bare and die off due to famine and sickness?

I’m thinking more the latter than the former.

Everything indicates it's the former not the latter.
