That's a Louisiana thing.
Waffle Houses where I live are perfectly fine.
Don't let your guard down, Waffle Houses can erupt anywhere, any time.

The Motel 6 behind that Waffle House needs to be leveled. So does the two shitty little motels next to it.
As well as the methadone clinic, and the homeless encampment on the other side of the sound wall on the mall access road.

When I'm at most Waffle Houses I always feel uncomfortable and like I need to keep my head on a swivel. Last time I was in one it was in St. Rose mid day for lunch on a weekday. I would have thought it would be a fine time and location. Nope.
The waitress and a patron get into an all out verbal fight. The customer returned to her car to wait for her food to be made.
1) I was waiting for the customer to come back in and shoot the waitress.
2) If I was the customer no way would I have still eaten that food.
I don't know how people feel comfortable working in these places especially at that time of the morning.
I just think some of yall live in shitholes. I have a great Waffle House next to me.

So surprising that this happens so close to Waffle House, Motel 6, Super 8 Motel, Econolodge, methadone clinic, and homeless encampments. Whodathunkit?

I don’t follow our local news in Alexandria (mini New Orleans), but it seems we had two 17 year olds shot at our IHOP.
This place is going to hell faster than most.

This happened in St. George though...which is by Sheriff's were on scene instead of BRPD. BRPD doesn't have jurisdiction.

the suboxone clinic off Reiger Road
Is this where there’s always a ton of cars/people lined up outside? I always thought that was people trying to get work for the day. Kinda like the oak tree @ the Coursey Home Depot but with more diversity

Incredible some posters try to make BR sound like a good place to live.
Really? Who?

Notably not St George.

Way back when in my college days I worked as a cook at Waffle House. I actually worked at the one on Siegen Lane (and other locations). I worked there part time maybe a few years, working night shift... I've seen some crap and some of the characters I worked with were unreal. One guy I worked with all of a sudden stop showing up for work - found out he got arrested for armed robbery. Another guy I started working with just got out of prison and man, some of the stuff he said. And some of those waitresses were a bit thirsty, and that's all I will say about that.
After I got my first job in my career, I quit and hardly ate there again. Working night shift back then could be unnerving, and there's no way in the world I would work something like that again, especially with the way things are now.

A seemingly innocent post about homeless yesterday, maybe that poster took action.
