Geez first World Cup, I’m going to bet that more parents start to train their kids for esports rather than sports. Low risk high reward, $3M for winning a game?

You have to be a hardcore autist to win at these types of things

That’s probably the equivalent of many months to even a year’s worth of screen time to get that good

No thanks to raising my kid like that

How long can someone sustain themselves with that lifestyle? You have to think theres some cons as life goes on.

Turn your kid into a social retard on the infinitesimal chance he'll be crowned king of the nerds. Sounds like a plan.

Yes, money is money and some of the biggest names have some damn fine girlfriends.

Esports is growing pretty quickly here and if I the option of making millions in a sport where concussions are common or playing call of duty all day I'm choosing the latter.

Surprisingly, yes. There are a lot of e-girls that are total sloots. Probably cause most e girls have daddy issues

As opposed to that much book/screen time to be that good at finance or law or whatever to make a lot of money?

There are an awful lot of potential cons to life after a pro football career as well. That said there is also a much higher probability that e-sports phenoms post "pro career" will be able to code.

A stadium of people showed up to watch this?

This many nerds must have put out a strong odor.

But on the plus side,3 million might get him through college,or not.

Not anymore. The top 50 in the Fortnite world cup today made at least $100,000. 4 guys made over 1 million.

That's individual, not splitting with a team, and not splitting with an organization.
