I work for a venture capitalist firm that just invested a ton of money into Esports. It’s growing incredibly fast and has so many eyeballs on the streaming (watching other people play) that it won’t be long before espn has countless hours dedicated to esports programming.
There are a lot of tournaments that go on at sec schools and large arenas and there are already talks of SEC e sport teams forming in the near future with scholarship opportunities. I knew nothing about gaming before, so these stats blew my mind when doing our due diligence.
The top 20 teams in the us all make over 25million/yr in prize money.

Is NASCAR a sport? They are sitting down in a car controlling it with a steering wheel and petals.
Like a video game, where you are controlling what's on the screen. You have to have good hand eye coordination.
