If I am mowing during that time it's usually because I am getting a cut in on my lunch break while working from home.

When our office had us working from home due to Covid, it was refreshing hearing the hustle and bustle of people working outside, from mowing, to landscaping, to any kind of construction. I prefer that over total quiet. The sounds of progress around me kept me awake and motivated.

Retired. I typically cut at various times/days;however, in view of your sad plight, I'll make sure to only mow M-F between 8-5. Keep banging on that laptop, son! You're doin' great!

You sound like a person that would bitch if they mowed on the weekend.

Leave my yard guys along. They're harder working than you...

I work from home and I mow on a weekday morning in between meetings. It frees up my weekend. Most lawn services mow on weekdays. What a retarded thread.

You hear people mowing from inside your house? Forget to insulate?

Then they definitely have no excuse, they can mow any of the other available 70 hours in a week.

I'd mow every fricking day if my neighbor was as big a prick as you sound like.

4 figure decisions? So you're the guy ordering the printer paper?

i know this is a troll, but is this going to become a thing in suburban neighborhoods? "quiet hours" during the day so people can work from home?

lawn mowing threads have always confused me. i've lived in either an apartment for a dense urban neighborhood for the past ten years and i honestly don't think i've ever had my sleep disturbed by someone cutting the grass, weed whipping, etc.

There is nothing wrong with cutting the grass during the damn week. My yard guys come every Thursday for example. They are not and should not have to come on the weekend. In fact I only know of one person on my street that cuts their own yard. Pretty much there is always grass being cut, yards being sprayed, or pest control stuff going on.

Get a bigger yard so you can’t hear your neighbor mow.

OT poors.
