Temp dropping quick in BR. 36 now. Wonder if we catch the tail end of some frozen stuff. Line is just to NW.

Ehh not really. Rain will exit by the time it hits freezing in Central Houston. Roads will dry before they can freeze.

No help. It was dead yesterday at 5pm on my way into Alex

Mostly rain here. A little covering of ice on raised surfaces. Some crunch iof past sleet mixed in on ground, steady rain still.

I live on a rural golf course where 90% of the trees are red cedar. We did not get any ice with this storm, but there have been ice storms out here in the past where you can go outside in the middle of the night, when it is quiet, and listen to all the limbs snapping. Very eerie.

I wouldn’t expect much of a party. It will dry out today with the strong winds. It’s just going to be pretty cold.

Just a little freezing mist where I'm at this morning. The vehicles have a thin layer of ice on them but very light so far

When I was a kid in North GA we had a really bad ice storm..back in the 80’s….and that night you could hear pine trees breaking. They sounded like bombs going off in the woods. I’ll never forget that.

Futurecast has the freeze line pretty much running at the Capital near the end of the rain

Freezing rain sucks. We're going to have a crazy day here, I really hope the usual idiots who just have to drive around find some sense.

We were projected to get anywhere from 12-18 inches of snow but probably have 6 inches of snow right now.

Oxford MS is f’d. Bad from what I can tell on fb. Residents saying worse than 1994. So thankful our family chose to come to south Louisiana.

Hope you all stay safe.
