This offseason when Payton gets traded.

He and Triplett were discussing this on their podcast. That would be a double kick to the balls

Doesnt really matter honestly. This franchise will need a complete tear down and rebuild to be successful. Mickey needs to move up into mgmt and hire a real GM.

If Payton is smart, he will take him. I’d don’t like every saints pick, but he’s the main reason for the saints success at the end of the Brees era. Payton and Loomis screwed us out of many of Brees prime years with their bad picks and fa signings. Ireland is a tremendous talent evaluator.

Nah, Ireland will be a promotion so he’ll be free to go. Back to a 7th and they’ll spit on the tip

Saints don't have to let go of Payton's rights. So frick Payton. I hope to God that Mickey and more importantly Gayle stand up to Fat Payton and his pretentious wife.

Won’t matter? You know our drafts have been much better since his arrival right?

Do you know who Stanley Jean-Baptiste is?

Vinny Sunseri?

Khairi Fortt?

Nick Toon?

Ronald Powell?

Probably said doesn't matter because some posters have this mythical logic that teams are supposed to hit on 100% of their drafts; especially first 3 rounds. Reality is, if you need a complete rebuild, you definitely need a guy like Ireland in the room because the draft is the ultimate way to reset the cap. You just need to remove the take a chance on a project guy (SP) and the trade your future picks to move up guy (ML) and be patient for once.

Why they haven't just made Mickey the president of the Saints and promoted Ireland is beyond me. Just make him the GM and you don't have to worry about someone giving him that promotion.

Yes

And payton sucks at it.

Hope he takes the Arizona job

He’s arrogant enough to believe he could make a difference with that qb
