I don't think GW has been unjustly villified, dude was borderline wreck less at times this year. I get the whole "I just gotta be me" thing but frick.

they always say when a team has a great D, all the offense has to do is not turn it over, make a few plays, and play field position
well, same thing goes when you have a great O but reversed. williams didnt get that it seems

Well, we wont have much cap room to do much with our defense.
The Saints already have some decent talent on defense but for the most part have underachieved. Spags should turn out to be a good hire.

GW did a great job but the fact is he couldnt ride 09 very much longer. And his defense couldnt step up when it mattered the most. If your offense scores 30+ points in a playoff game, most of the time you should win the game.

You know what I meant. A upset playoff loss, lots of uncertainty surrounding some of our key players leaving via FA, Brees' contract situation looming in the background...Don't get me wrong, it's been a great season, but ever since that loss, the news around here hasn't been all that good.
