On the other hand, if we are picking 7th, then Dennis is gone...
Dying Darth Vader voice…. “Nothing… can stop that now…”...

Oof… I may go back and take the under in that 7.5 wins thread ...
No way DA survives an 8 win season… if he does, then we might as well all check out because it’s going to be a decade of misery....
We were supposed to go 6-0 in an historically bad NFC South too…...
It’s the Reggie reverse by a country mile… I can’t remember now but it’s my recollection that the loss may have kept us out of the playoffs?...
We are a middle of the road team in cap hell with a mediocre-to-bad head coach who couldn't win consistently in an historically bad conference... it's probably best to temper any expectations for this offseason....
Possibly unpopular opinion: if you can keep Carr upright and give him enough time that he doesn’t get nervous and start dancing, we have all the receivers we need....
That was a great play well executed… my only complaint was they kept going back to it again and again and again instead of quitting while they were ahead....

Carr can’t hit anyone more than 10 yards down field with the D-Line in his face anyway ...
A guy who will later be fired by the new head coach ...

This is where I came in…...
Fair… but the quote in the OP is “a lot of players”… that means more than 2, to me....
It’s not that simple though… it’s fair to ask why a coach whom everyone thinks is going to get fired if he doesn’t win next season would blow the team up and start a rebuild. If the answer is, he’s been told he has more than one year to implement his vision, you’re not going to find a lot of fans wh...
I don’t get it… DA is on the hot seat before the season even starts and he’s going to burn it down and start over now?! This is a move a guy with three years of runway in front of him does. If this happens, then you’ll know DA has been told he has more then one season to fix things....

re: Would you fire DA to hire Harbaugh?

I answered yes after “would you fire…”...
What this tells you is that our problems are much bigger than a coach… we have regressed to the kind of corrosive culture that kept this team from breaking out before Payton and Brees came along. They have to make a statement here by firing Dennis or this is going to affect this team’s fortunes for ...
They'll say the offense looked much better down the stretch, which is true as long as you pretend we weren't playing shitty teams and ignore the fact that the Rams looked like a team from a different, much better, league. And that Dennis finally has his first winning season and "has figured it out."...
Best lineman on the board, either side, but I would prefer offensive line ...
