It's not playing scared, it's playing smart. Besides, preseason games don't exactly show much and everyone isn't even playing, so it's more to evaluate guys you haven't seen much in NFL games to see what they do.

I just think that because players are being evaluated as you say right now and you have Book running the show and your trying to make the team, lets just say good luck.

A few things are different now, there are only three preseason games and maybe they want to see if Book is worth keeping around

He is saying Book sucks so bad he is going to cost other guys a spot on the team. The receivers are set, hell the top ones aren't playing. Anyone on the bottom of the depth chart for receiver is going to make the team based on special teams play so his reasoning still doesn't make any sense.

This is a team on offense all trying to get better. You Do Not get better as a Team with a guy like Book its a complete waste of good preseason game time.
Im in understanding that Dalton needs to keep his health but there are good players on the cut line on offensive with a bad player they are banking on.
I should have corrected what I meant by "playing right now". It should have been a half minimum for Dalton. He and all players that we hope to use outside of guaranteed starters need to play a half or no one gets better and we have no idea who can do shite after a Book lead debacle.

He's the starting QB. Only plays a series and thats it.

he's basically saying Book is costing other players b/c he sucks, whereas if they were on the field with a better QB, ala Dalton, they'd have a better chance of looking good and showcasing their talent
