How miserable is y’all’s life to wish for that? You trying to make the real fans just as miserable as you? Sad

You can take your cap medicine and also try to win... Might even find some franchise players hiding in the rough.

You either have a great QB or you don’t. If you don’t then nothing matters.

If you don’t you need to either sign one or draft one.

It’s unlikely we will be able to sign one.

So you have to draft one. The higher you are in the draft the more players you have to choose from.

This isn’t hard.

Id tank.

Matter of fact, Id collect 2024 draft picks by trading away the whole draft.

Not having a franchise QB is a disaster and must find a way to get one, which must be done in the draft.

Exactly what they're trying to do. Just because I'm a Saints fan for life doesn't mean I want wasted years. Play to win, if you still lose then fix the problem, don't create the problem

Team is going nowhere with Allen. Tank is the right choice

This just isn’t true. In the last decade, Flacco, Foles, and Stafford have all won Superbowls. Carr is at least on their level.

Depends on who we’re talking for. If it’s a Joe Burrow/Andrew Luck generational type talent then yes.

Not hoping for the Saints to lose at all.

But we can't afford to trade up for Young or Stroud.

And taking on a project player like Anthony Richardson isn't a good idea because Sean Payton is gone.

I think this is a weak arse QB class for the most part.

You are even more delusional. The problem is we lack a franchise QB. We have no cap room to sign any. The prospects based on our draft picks are scarce. We need a year to bite the cap Bullet, and readjust. The word strategy is lost on some of you. If it was as easy as you say, everyone would be super bowl contenders. We need to tank to get spending money and high draft picks to get a QB. Damn, this ain’t rocket science.

Dennis Allen's failures will lead to our eventual happiness.

Losers strategize to lose buddy. That aint rocket science. And there isnt a Joe Burrow waiting for us. Not to many of those.

You will never fix the problem without a QB. You need to draft high to raise the odds of getting that franchise QB

Exactly. We should have been playing younger guys to fill in holes instead of signing the Jarvis landrys , Marcus Mayes and honey badgers of the world digging deeper into cap hell.

Just look at what happens when a young guy is given playing time like shaheed.

As a golfer, although I'm aggressive in trying to shape shots when I put myself in an unfavorable position, sometimes the best choice is to get your ball back in play to score no worse than a bogey. With Loomis at the helm, it's time to take our medicine and get our cap back in play so we can be aggressive down the road when acquiring key pieces of our roster, both in the trenches and behind center. Many of us are tired of watching Loomis do the same thing, expecting different results. I think posters are thinking longer term than the man with the title of GM pulling the strings. A win now attitude is not always favorable to the long-term building goals of a team. But what the hell do I know? I'm just a degenerate posting on Saints Talk.
