That he signed for less than Drake London is wild

Drake London is a bigger target and much better than Olave at catching passes in traffic. London has better size as a blocker on perimeter in the run game.
Olave is a smooth route runner and better deep threat.
I'd give the edge to London on being better overall.

yes he’s a good player.

This is about the concussions.

Let me ask it this way. Do you think his career will survive another significant concussion? Two?

I just don’t believe in paying RBs or WRs 90% of the time. Just a personal philosophy. They tend to be glass cannons with short shelf-lives and diva attitudes.

For less than 5k yards and 19tds in 4 Years? I suppose it’s the going rate for a no.1 WR on the team leading in concussions.

You can blame whoever you want. I don’t blame him. It’s the organization as a whole.

Do you act this way every time some throws stats?

He has almost identical stats as Garrett Wilson who has an almost identical contract. Drake London has like 200 more yards and 3 more TDs and got 10 mil more guaranteed.

Just because you are generously paid doesn't mean you are a top receiver. All you mentioned are the teams top receiver and all generally decent.

It’s a solid deal in the WR market. Horner, you’ve got to ask yourself, why is the WR market so inflated?

The difference between Olave and Drake London's contract probably reflects the additional amount the Saints had to pay Lloyds of London or whoever to insure Olave's contract against injury. Olave's team probably knew this would have to be accounted for from the start of negotiations.

And remember, if Olave gets hurt any insurance money paid to the team is credited back to the salary cap. I guarantee the Saints are covered.
