Exactly. And he went in the third round. You dint gamble a first rounder on a prospect like this.

Mickey can't wait to give him an orginization-breaking extension if he's not productive, or let him walk in FA if he is productive.

That’s a lot of pressure stats without getting home. Would fit perfectly on these past defenses

Reminds me of chase young with the pressures without sacks.

Now stewart worked from the inside a bunch.

I'd love to see the numbers on how much he got doubled.

I like the edge from Boston College and the tight end, arroyo, from Miami. I think he will go later and is explosive as a pass catching te.

Better comp for this guy is Danielle Hunter.

Looks the part. Insane measurables and physical traits, almost zero college production.

Productive and fast. Very light for his length and his vertical was absolutely comical. He has zero explosion which is very concerning. Seems to be a speed rusher at best.

Interesting name to watch given the new defense and Joseph coming over from UT

The tape backs up the data—Jahdae Barron was elite this year. A 91.1 coverage grade, a 91.5 zone grade, an 83.3 run defense grade, and a QBR of 32.4 when targeted. He took snaps at slot, outside, DL, box, and deep. Super instinctive defender with excellent ball skills.

I like this comp

Jahdae Barron
5106
194
9 1/2 hand
29 5/8 arm
73 1/2 wing

Brian Branch
5115
190
9 1/2 hand
30 3/4 arm
75 1/4 wing

That’s why you trade back for more picks and get him but we all know trading back will never happen

My only reservation would be scheme fit. I think Javon Walker would be a better fit

I was the biggest Branch guy on here. Barron woukd be nice but not top 10. Maybe if he drops to the 2nd and we move up some. It’s criminal we didn’t pick him when we had the chance.

Baron is gonna be a first round pick. And it’s not even debatable. Some believe he plays corner. He’s been a lockdown corner and can play multiple positions. Top 10? No. 17-25 range is what I’d guess

Branch was also suppose to go top 15 until his workouts. No one thought he’d go in the 2nd.

Told yall in the draft threads that year, he put up top 15 tape. It’s not always about measureables. Some of these gms are idiots. It’s how u draft a Fosky high b/c he had a high RAS score.
