"The New Orleans Saints deny any allegations of purposefully delaying the game on Monday evening. Defensive end Cameron Jordan felt foot pain following a third down play and sought medical attention. He entered the blue medical tent and was examined by the medical staff and following the examination he was taped and able to finish the game. He had an MRI performed the following day in New Orleans and was confirmed that he suffered an acute mid-foot sprain in his left foot. He has been at the facility each day receiving treatment for his injury he suffered on the play. The Saints will appeal the fines through the proper channels and believe the allegations will be proved incorrect."

Im not sure how the nfl can prove this if all proper protocols are followed
They can’t. Unfortunately we don’t have a game this week for him to be on the practice report to even further drive this point home.

I remember laughing because I thought the faked injury helped Tampa more than us there.

Good, I support this for all teams. Don’t like the soccer fake injury crap. Talk about slowing down the game.

Someone needs to put a fake knife in Roger’s throat.

it did, just more examples of ineptitude and incompetence from this coaching staff

Is he ever gonna retire??? Not productive anymore.

One of most durable players in the game deserves more respect than what goodell just did to him

Lavonte David #54 did this in one of the previous series. But I guess since he's on Tom Brady's team then it's okay.

the sad thing about this is that the fake injury allowed the bucs to rethink going for it on 4th and 17.. that whole fake injury started the bucs comeback because i believe we would have stop the bucs on that 4th and 17 and closed the game out.
hell, maybe thats why we faked the injury to give the bucs time to rethink it and decide to punt the ball lol. my tin foil hat theory lol..

quote:I think “strategically” (if this word may be used in reference to the regurgitated hairball that was the Saints’ late 4th down choices) the reason for Jordan’s faked injury was to prevent the Bucs from potentially going for it on 4th Down.
When we had 3 timeouts. These coaches are fricking idiots.
The probability of that happening was next to zero, after the faux injury, if my memory serves me correctly the Bucs went ahead and punted…
If I have this sequence incorrect, I apologize. The point still remains that the Saints choked strategically at the end of that game.
When Todd Bowles out strategerizes you, you should be made unemployed.

Remember the Covid-19 bullshite that kept the Saints out of the playoffs.
I remember when CSP tried to literally murder people by lifting his completely ineffective mask on the sideline that one time.
He should’ve known that the covid virus was sophisticated enough to know that it could not affect players on the field who didn’t require masks, but that lifting his own mask on the sideline even a little was literally putting us ALL AT RISK!
That’s ok though, after paying the levied fine of recompense to Roger, all was well once again.
Scary times indeed.
frick the NFL.

Jordan looked to the sideline, took a knee,

Saints are lying. Cam did not return to Nola with the team. He stayed in Florida and returned to Nola Wednesday night.

So the Saints are cheating again, and water is wet?

Cam was limping and trying to walk off the field. The coaches told him to take a knee. Cam clearly was limping as soon as he got up from the play. This is bullshite. Jessie Bates clearly faked an injury but Cams wasn't bad. As an injured player why would you run off the field? Of course you take a knee.
