No you dummy. You protect the most important games. Division games.

Through 2026,, there will have been 63 regular season games played in Europe/South America/Australia.

Only three will have been Division Games:

Jaguars vs Colts in 2016*.

Panthers vs Tampa Bay in 2019.

49ers vs Rams in 2026**.

*Shahid Khan doing Jaguar in London things.

**As mentioned, Kroenke and McVay are probably tired of playing in front of 80% 49ers Fans in Intuit. I wouldn’t be surprised if they suggested this option to the NFL.

Odds were minuscule that they were going to pick Falcons, Panthers, or Buccs to be the game in Europe (if we didn’t protect them).

Saints should get ahead of this and announce what games they protected.

Or they did not want to lose any potential homefield advantage since Pitt fans travel so well and always take up a decent percentage of the crowd.

Funny that we never had to worry about visiting Fans taking over the Superdome from 2006 to 2021.

There is a balance that exists between being able to organically protect your home field advantage by having a non-Carr product on the field and welcoming in 8k visiting fans that will help fill up 12,000 hotel room nights (3 nights on average) for a weekend during the fall.
ESPN.com Article on Prospect of NFL having 10 International Games in 2027

From above article: "The league also voted to strip teams' ability to protect any home games from international play. Previously, teams could protect two games."

Anyone with a pulse and that could do a small bit of research would have known to PROTECT: 1) Steelers and 2) Packers.

Especially the Steelers with common knowledge that Aaron Rodgers was returning for one more game in the Dome before his retirement..

Gayle Benson and her Advisors instead decided to pick the upside of having the NFL pick the top traveling Steelers and having a "lottery", like they supposedly did when they hosted the Super Bowl and were allotted some tickets for Season Ticket holders as camouflage knowing that they could offload their whole allotment of Steelers Paris Tickets to brokers for 5X their face value.

Another example on the Benson regime choosing Personal Profits over what would have been a nice economic boost for the city + some fan service to Saints loyal season ticket holders.
Zulu, NOMTOC, and Mardi Gras Indians will shortly be awarded a grant from the city equal to $100 a participant to offset this for their participants.
Wow! Trailing by 17, the Atlanta Dream have pieced together a 13-0 run with less than 3 minutes to go to make it a 4 point game.

I don't think anyone expected to see that many missed layups by a WNBA team (Aces) in a 4th Quarter.
Some people would say that the W was really stupid for after their opening weekend to have zero Saturday games and then have three games starting at the same time on Sunday.

We lead off with Las Vegas at Atlanta. I like Vegas with Rhyne Howard being out.

Whatever you do, don't watch the WNBA if you dislike sloppy basketball.
How has this thread gone so long without someone referencing yet that "teachers get their summers off".

What has happened to the OT that I loved?
So many A-List celebrities in the building tonight!
Want to feel old?

Rousey's last fight was ten years ago.
Nate Diaz looks like he could fight for the Dallas Buyers Club next.

How many people were betting on this fight?

I bet a lot of guys just scrolled through the App and saw Nate Diaz as a +130 underdog and took a flyer for $5 or $10.

No other sports on tonight at the moment (besides baseball).

Nate is usually great with cardio.

2019 was 7 years ago now.
This reminds me of that old website "BumFights".

Perry already gassed and Diaz just fighting long enough to ensure the money hit his checking account

I'd love to hear Uncle Dana's commentary watching this.

No…..seats were as cheap as $60

On the secondary market after they dumped blocks to brokers to save face.
Nate Diaz hasn't fought since 2022?

I'm going to take the other guy.

Did they price the tickets at a UFC in Vegas level or affordable so they could fill it?

Cheapest TicketMaster seats were $300 with fees.
This has been a great card...

If you love First Round Knockouts.
