Mac Jones would be a great fit with Sean Payton and the Saints

Deadly accurate, smart and throws a great deep ball. I really hope we select this kid in the first round.

Sorry Mac. If we strike out on Watson, Stafford, and Rodgers and it's between you and Jamesis, I'm riding with Famous Jamesis.

Had forever to throw in Bama's offense & receivers had 10 yards of separation most plays. It will be interesting if he can process quickly enough to become a great Pro.

The guy is really an unknown at this point. He was rarely hurried and almost never hit. He never had to play from behind, and his receivers were wide open most of the time.

Average athleticism and a decent but not great arm. Taking any QB in the first round is a gamble, but this guy especially.

Ehh. Mark Sanchez/A. J. McCarron at best. But most likely Danny Etling or Greg McElroy.

Why were none of them ever considered to be 1st round picks?

tigerbait3488,

I agree. Looks solid. Love the downvotes. These fans on here hated Justin Herbert. I hope Sean knows more than these fans do.

If trask is expected to be there in the 2nd, I'd rather take him.

Trask cannot handle pressure in the pocket and not nearly as accurate as Jones

I see them as basically the same player. One just had a far superior cast. I'd go with Winston over both.

I’m totally in favour Of it - I have trouble seeing Jameis as the face of the Saints for some reason

How do you evaluate him! WR running 6 yards open. Never plays from behind

But they at least acknowledged the huge arm he had.

Mac completed a much higher percentage of his passes. Half the INTs.
Also, we got to see Trask without that great supporting cast in the bowl game and he looked like shite

Okay, Mark Sanchez/Blake Bortles at best. But more likely Brandon Weeden or Blaine Gabbert.

Is this better?
