Olave is a #2 WR who has as many concussions as Tua. Why the hell should he be paid like a guy who just put up a WR triple crown?

Derek Carr should donate his entire salary to Olave since he got him hit so many times over the middle that his brain is turning into spaghettios

I think it’s mostly Gen Z fans that like his name and how he acts zesty instead of masculine

Let's be honest.

Olave shouldn't be paid at all.

He's a good WR. I think he's a legitimate #1 WR if not for the concussions. Unfortunately, the concussions have advanced to the point where it seems to be only a matter of time before his career is over.

It sucks.

Olave was a reach and never should’ve been drafted at 11 overall. But he’s still a damn good WR who has yet to play with a decent quarterback

While I agree with your point, the reality is those are now a sunk cost, and the point would be to get whatever you can in return. Mid-season trade would be the option for a guaranteed pick; 2nd best option is to hope for a comp pick in return.

FYI, Olave's 5th year option is valued at $15.5M per OTC

Penning is valued at $16.7M

What an absolutely awful draft day trade we made for this guy. One of the worst in franchise history

Agree with both. I wouldn’t pay top dollar to him or even really want to be the one giving him that 2nd contract due to the concussions though. Odds not in our favor.

Clown. if he plys the first 5 games witout a concussion, id be shocked. Chase idurable and the YAK king. OLave looks for a place to fall on the ground, even before his concussions. Also, he doesnt score touchdowns. Occasional great catch, as wellas a confusing drop.ZGood second receiver/ 10 mill a year max

I haven’t seen the exact quote in context but I can’t believe Kinkade is that dumb.

$10M might be a little light is you are going to argue for him to be a good #2. He won't get Tee Higgins type money at $28.75M a year (currently 7th highest amongst WR), but $10M puts him around the top 30 for WRs with Josh Palmer, Dyami Brown & Tutu Atwell.

$15M would have him slip behind Jerry Jeudy ($17.5M) & Courtland Sutton ($13.75M); as stated above his 5th year option is $15.5M

if you take Olave's injury concerns, i dont think he should get paid top 40.
