Dolphins, where we down like 24-3, and came back to crush them.

Like many have said, I'm going with us absolutely dominating the Pats in '09 in every facet of the game. FWIW I'm 27, so don't remember pre-1990. My grandpa had season tix since the 80's and when he died in November 2005 we kept them going. I've been grateful to experience some amazing games live and they all are special for different reasons. The Dome re-opening is on another level, the divisional game seeing Deuce drag the entire philly defense on his back for a TD, hanging 50+ on the Packers on MNF, seeing Drew break the yardage record against the Falcons on MNF, seeing Reggie go off against Arizona but man to be there and see Brady and Belichick literally wave the white flag was insane. The storylines going into it were off the charts, both undefeated, 2 of the best QB's, coaches, and organizations. It came down to that old mantra of "You wanna be the best, you gotta beat the best." We didn't just beat them, we destroyed the hell out of them. Just unbelievable.

2000 playoff game vs the Rams
first playoff win ever
Hakim drops the ball

I was only 10, barely remember the game, but I remember being there and knowing Kurt Warner was about to get the ball and inevitably score.. and when he dropped that punt, man that was a feeling in that dome that I will never be able to forget.

That play still gives me chills! Porter had such a great two game stretch there.

The Super Bowl is the easy winner for me. Started off bad falling behind. Then the comeback with Drew playing out of his mind. I still can't believe he doesn't get a ton of credit for how he played in that game. 32-39 for 288 yards and 2 TDs...he was damn near perfect. Top it with the pick 6 to seal the game.

NFC Championship is the second due to the stakes. Ending with a kick right through the fleur de fricking lis after an amazing turnover.

Pats was most dominant win by the Saints, and done with McKenzie coming off the street to start at CB. To crush a top team like that on national TV was special.

Dolphins was the most improbable comeback with Brees putting on the Superman cape. The Redskins game was also exciting with an all time great play in the Meachem strip TD.

Most exciting and heartbreaking loss was the 49ers playoff game. That may have been our most talented team.

The 2009 Patriots game was pretty close to perfect.

Brees had a perfect game going 18/23 371 yards and 5 TDs for a 158.3 QB Rating

Brady had the 10th worst game of his career going 21/36 for 237 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs for a 55 QB Rating

But in terms of best games the team ever played all around, that's kind of tough. But a dark horse contender has to be the worst defense of all-time shutting out the Bucs 41-0.

Some stats from that game:
Brees 26/39 307 yards 4 TDs 124.6 QB Rating
Freeman 26/47 279 yards 0 TDs 4 INTs 37.5 QB Rating

Saints rushing 25 carries 149 yards 1 TD
Bucs rushing 16 carries 67 yards and a fumble

Hartley was a perfect 2/2 and 5/5

Morstead had a 53.6 yards per punt which is his 10th best average of his career

5-0 Turnover ratio

About as perfect a game as you can ask for winning the battle in the air, on the ground, and on special teams.

Most fun to watch was that Pats game in '09. Don't know how mahy times I replayed that game. That game put the entire NFL on notice if they weren't convinced how good the Saints were before.

The greatest single game was the 2009 Patriots game, as many have stated.

But I want to give an honorable mention to the 42-0 demolition of the Elway-led Denver Broncos in 1988.

Nobody was expecting that level of arse-whooping that day.

Believe it or not, Bobby Hebert went 20 for 23 that day. 194 yards and 3 TD's.

I was at the game, and saw that old superfan who always wore the Broncos barrel around his waist. He was having a bad time.

Pats game as previously indicated.........

Has anyone mentioned the beat down of the Falcons in the Return to the Dome game? Cause that will always be at the top for me.

2009 NFC Championship game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The most emotionally draining game I've ever watched but the most satisfying win ever.

Our offense played like shite and the defense wasn't doing a good enough job containing Brett Favre and the Minnesota offense but we still came out on top thanks to key turnovers and great return yardage from our special teams.

I would say that the greatest game the saints ever played is patriots of 2009. That was complete and pure dominance. Brees had a perfect passer rating of 158.3 and the defense absolutely shut them down like a mothefricker.

It was pure perfection.

But the Redskins game is when you started to believe they were going to win it all.

Honestly I did not allow myself to believe that we were going to win until I saw Porter running the opposite way with the interception.

And I was at the NFC Championship Game.

After the game against the Vikings I was just so happy to actually be going to the Super Bowl. Just getting there was a huge deal. Then when we scored and even got the 2 point conversion to go up by 7, but I knew that had Manning.

So I watched with my wife with nervous anticipation and then it happened. When Porter started going the other way and scored I just started crying.
