If you got the virus at the game and passed it to your mother and it killed her, would you feel guilty?

Jamie Collins got 10 million a year. Retrospect.

Wait to see the if the contract depends on a physical. Teams aren’t doing them right now.

How the frick do you think you are getting tua? Explain?

Also how do you replace the offensive weapon Taysom has become? He was fantastic the last quarter of the season.

Taysom can sign today

I know people are willing to accept a 1st, but there will be no plan for a future without drew. That means the saints will likely have to spend a pick of picks on a QB who won’t see the field this year. Finally we lose a key player on offense this year. It’s not worth a low first. I hope they sign him.
....could be a nice stopgap. At least another understudy.

This kid was in the Colts system for a few years, so he's not green. Andrew Luck apparently gave him heavy plaudits to his father (the XFL commissioner).

He can move and throw.
I think they are fairly even, but I give the edge to Dak due to Teddy's injury.
We did give Ingram a second contract, but it was 4 year 16 million deal. No one here will argue that Ingram's deal wasn't fair. There was never any talk of him being released form it, and the Saints got return on that deal. If Alvin can sign a fair deal then he will have life with this team.

Right now Spotrac calculated Kamara’s current market value at $15.5M/year. There's just no way this can happen.
PFT loves to start ??. I mean they fed the Payton to cowboys rumor mill for years. However, Burrow is surrounding himself with people that are anti-bengals, even former players and siblings.

PFT

quote:

The puzzle pieces are piling up. And it’s not all that hard to see what Joe Burrow may be trying to assemble.

Burrow may be thinking about trying to get the Bengals to not draft him — or to get someone else to trade up and get him. And the evidence is becoming more and more clear.

As I said before, I wouldn't be mad at all if Burrow just came out and said no fricking way to the bengals. John Elway and Eli both did it, and both eventually won two superbowls. It would be different if it was any other team in the NFL, well except the Redskins. I just don't think the Bengals give two shits about doing what it takes to win.

I know Joe Burrow doesn't want to come off. like a dick in his home state, but he really should think about self preservation.

They let Ingram walk who wanted more.. Also, I don't believe it would be Murray alone. I never said it would be one back. Kamara is not worth 10 million. I'd rather have 2 backs that can perform near that. Sean is on his third back that can line up at wide receiver. I'm sure he can find another.
That's a good approach. I would rather have a bunch of good backs like that, than have the money tied into one. Doubt McKinnon will make that money. There's already articles saying he's making too much. He will likely have to renegotiate or be released.
We won games without him. Murray had incredible numbers while he was on the bench injured. He's not worth even 10 million. Maybe 6.5 - 7 million. Finally, Sean likes to keep him on a pitch count, but his agent won't care about that.

I think Murray could easily eclipse 1000 yards and he's durable, and good at catching the ball.

Plus he's a cheaper contract.
Ezekiel Elliott — Dallas Cowboys.
Todd Gurley — Los Angeles Rams
Le'Veon Bell — New York Jets.
David Johnson — Arizona Cardinals
Devonta Freeman — Atlanta Falcons

Here's the 5 highest paid running backs and they aren't worth it. None of them will finish out their bloated contracts. If Kamara demands to be paid top 5, then we should try to get as much value as possible. Running backs are too fragile to command a large portion of the cap.
I mean, does Mickey tell him, hey you are sharing the ball with Taysom, and that doesn't deserve starting cash? We already know Mickey hates Drew's agent and vice versa. Could get ugly.

PFT

Saints are looking to offer Drew a bridge year. He would share snaps. Not sure it would be 50/50. I bet drew retires.
Then state the options! Keeping them a secret?
