Two things. This isn’t even close to true. Even if it were, Saints should clean house if they give up all of that.

You can’t have it both ways

What if there is Burrow talk but it’s a smokescreen so Carolina doesn’t target moving up for Tua. Maybe they let Carolina cripple themselves by go all out for Burrow while we trade a few first rounders for Tua and keep Thomas.

I love Thomas, but the basis for long-term success on any team is a good quarterback with a good to great offensive line to keep him healthy. Drafting Mike when we did and for him to pan out like he did was simply great timing. But without a long-term trigger puller or offensive line to keep him clean, Mike isn’t worth it long term.

I love mike, but trade him. Invest in the future now. Skill players can come later. Get your field general now.

The fact that anyone believes this internet rumor is laughable

I would do Thomas, Kamara and the 1st for Bengals' #1 and AJ Green. If I'm the Bengals I go after Prescott or Bridgewater as a free agent acquisition.

Finally some logic. This is the type of absurd scenario you play out in Madden and the game goes “naw dude.”

That being said i want no part of Burrow in Carolina. Sweet Jesus no.

That just isnt happening. Kamara and Thomas alone should get you that pick. Let alone future first and second rounders. The Saints will not do that. If they do that they are the dumbest organization in football. The absolute max they could and should get for that is Armstead, kamara, 24th, and maybe future first rounder and a later pick down the road. Thomas, kamara, multiple first, multiple seconds? lol. I also truly doubt that Cinci is shopping that pick. They dont have a qb.

Nope. Kamara can go. Thomas stays. How about Ginn?

Reach for the stars then Mike Brown.

Can we convince them that Peat/Onyamata/Marcus Williams is basically the same?

You people are fricking crazy. CGM just had a top 3 season in NFL history for a WR, is in his damn prime, and is literally the only reason our offense works, and you want to throw him in with a package that completely mortgages our future for a 23 year old rookie that may or may not be a franchise QB! Oh, we are also coming off of back to back 13-3 seasons with this core and could easily turn to Teddy if Brees retires and run it back and still get 10-12 wins, and you frick nuts are treating our team like we are the fricking Dolphins.

Also regarding Coach Pete saying the trade was made 5 weeks in advance, that is also bullshite. Mickey has been pretty open talking about how draft trades work. I am sure they had preliminary talks with several teams about what it would take to move up and they knew who they were going to target, but there is no fricking way the trade was agreed to 5 weeks before. It was probably agreed to around pick 10 the night of the draft.

Exactly
100% would be worth it if true

You can figure out skill players during the next 15 years

Davenport alone is worth two 1st round picks.

Nope. Put it all together and it doesn’t work. Just GEAUXT with no weapons.
