Fitness science-wise, you can certainly workout while in a fasted state, but you need to keep it light. If you start going intense, your body will burn through your glycogen stores and switch from burning fat to other available energy sources….the protein available in your muscle. This is assuming you want to keep your muscle gains.

Fasting is also not just about weight lose….you are giving your digestive system a break. You don’t really give that organ system any time off if you eating all the time. Sometimes it’s good to let it cleanse itself out. You body also starts looking elsewhere for the things it needs to carry out daily activities when you enter a fasted state, such as damaged cells. Think of it like your body starts eating fridge leftovers because there’s nothing else to eat in the house. This is part of where that cleanse feeling comes from.
What about something basic like one-legged bosu or wobble boards for 30-60 seconds? Maybe throw in some one legged deadlift with some light kettlebells?
Stuff involving wobble boards, Bosu’s, plyo/swiss balls, etc?

Generally seems good for injury prevention and core strength, just haven’t seen it talked about much on the board.
Go do Jiu jitsu twice a week with free weights and cardio mixed in the other days. Throw in a pool session too if you have one available.
As a commuter, I prefer the low maintenance, durability, and gas mileage of my Honda Accord. It’s a 2013 and still going strong. Plus, it’s the best type of car: the paid off kind ??
They are likely using the Triton (operating off the coast in international waters) as a warning to Iran that we are watching them closely over how they may aid the Houthis while we conduct our operations there.

re: Afghanistan vs Pakistan - it is on!

Not so fast folks. Historically, Pakistan has had massive issues policing their border with Afghanistan. There’s a reason the “Federally Administrated Tribal Area” existed for so long (merged with the closest provincial government/sector in 2018) and had its own unique police force, the Frontier Corps. That border is mountainous and porous, and exactly why the US had such a hard time tagging terrorists in that region as they went back and forth.

I don’t see this going well for anyone and I certainly wouldn’t say Pakistan is going to crush the Taliban, certainly not in that region with all the local, tribal ties they have.

Yeah, once you get to 12 hours, autophagy sets in (i.e. your body starts recycling your damaged/bad cells to repair itself). I personally try it aim for 14 hours. Autophagy is a good/healthy thing.

I read and followed this after my first meniscus tear, also a posterior horn tear. It took a few months, but it, plus regular land based PT, did work; it essentially, safely, worked/rubbed the tear into a nub. I’m in the military, so when I say I got full function, I got FULL function for all the physical stuff I’m required to do. No surgery required.
Complete PT Pool Rehab

Second meniscus tear, in my other knee, that was a different story. That sucker was a bucket handle tear; no rehab was going to fix that. Luckily I had a good surgeon; we had a long talk about trying to save/stitch it back together, and when she went in and did her thing, she was able too. Took about 6-9 months of rehab vice the much shorter amount if I got it cut out, but I’m back up and running and still have my whole meniscus. Again, lots of stuff from my first tear rehab, including pool, helped me tremendously.

Hope this was helpful
Anybody working for Blackrock go to that club?
Well this point should make good fodder for the VP debate. Vance served one contract (4ish years) and went to a combat zone as a public affairs guy versus this guy who did serve for 20+ years, but never saw a combat zone.
Only mentions revenue; what about compared to reduced operating costs and profit? Without those, the picture is incomplete.
So i got my medial meniscus on my right knee repaired a week ago; it was a bucket-handle tear and the surgeon was able to stitch it together vice take it out. I’m already getting close to 90 degrees flexion (no further for now).

What suggestions does anyone recommend, outside the box, to speed recovery? I have plenty of rehab exercises from my PT; I’m taking collagen and keeping up with my vitamins, Motrin and sleep.

Got my MRI results back recently; right knee tear. Yay. Had a tear in my left knee a few years back but the type of tear allowed me to rehab it, no surgery. This one….apparently there’s no way around it.

Anyone with bucket handle tear experience?

The bench minutes disparity between both teams was telling. All our bench players had double digit minutes, with three over 20. Suns bench had no one over 20 minutes, only two over 15.
Do you consider martial arts exercise? It is definitely breaking a sweat, but more fun and mental.
Wasn’t he a great O-Line coach the last time he was here? Seems like a pretty big win.
Multiverse of Madness trailer at the end was money.

I don’t know anyone who’s being serious who thinks Sieman has any potential as our future starting QB. Winston at least had the potential to be, but even then I don’t believe anyone was 100% sold on the idea, at least not yet.
