Had I said we would have won by 7, Shough would have accounted for 4 TDs, and we had 175 yards rushing I would have taken that in a fricking heartbeat.

Some of yall are fricking miserable

They would have rather us lose in the fashion the Giants lost than us win in the fashion we won so they could feel better about an almost comeback win.

The process

We are down 5 huge starters didn’t get nobody back

We got robbed by refs for 2 games

Could theoretically deserve to be 4-2 right now

Stats don't matter when they were one play away from blowing a 24 point 4th quarter lead.

Demand better from your Saints rather than being happy with narrowly beating a Jameis/JJM-lead Giants team.

The underlying issues are still there.

Good luck to anyone with any kind of contrarian take around here. Which is kind of the whole point of a sports messaging board.

Sunshine pump? Get the frick out of here.

Negative Nancy? Get the frick out of here.

I think two things can be true.

We can be happy the Saints won while also realizing that this game looked like two bad teams going at it and that the quickness in which everything fell apart in the end against a third-string quarterback (essentially) was disturbing.

Well, we ran the ball. We got turnovers, and they didn't run on us. We fixed those issues.

What we did was create new issues of castrated-level or low T conservative playcalling and letting JJ "9" McCarthy throw deep all over us out of nowhere.

Yes
We are still in year two of a rebuild (majority here said it would take longer)
A young team
A QB with less than 1 year of starts
A HC who has coached as a HC in total 23 games
Injuries to 40% of the oline and #6 out for the season
#2 WR #1 RB #1 LBer out
Having trouble running the ball and how to close out games

No, some of us can just see how shitty the coaching is with this team. Putting in the backups in the 4th with 12 minutes to go was a dumb decision. Constantly running HB middle over and over and over and over and over and over again when the Giants clearly knew it was coming was stupid - especially in the 4th when they've got the momentum.

Only reason why the Saints won that game is because the Giants waited too long to put McCarthy in.

after losing three in a row at home the way they did, I absolutely love winning today.

But there is some bad coaching going on within our team.

The good news is that the case for several teams around the league. If you don't think so, then I'll give you several examples.

but a win a is win. Not many people gave the Saints a chance including the meathead Gruden brothers
