She,her brother and a few others received a 'sizeable' pay-out from the Benson estate...I would think in the millions for each of them.

One of my friends dated her...lots of Red Room nights...lots of Helena and the pinky powder. She did the white snort...no one else!

If Helena ever runs for Mayor & I expect her to, I hope her opponents release some great dirt or footage on her & Rita from back in those days. Like someone said earlier, Rita's story of being on the cusp of being a young female NFL franchise owner to crashing & burning in a pile of coke & lawsuits would be a great documentary.

I think another fascinating aspect of the story is the role of the Archdiocese in “introducing” Gayle to Tom. They knew Rita was a disaster and having an amicable supplicant as the spouse of a billionaire was a long game stroke of genius. The power of the Church quickly rallied around Tom in opposition to Rita. The Archbishop even signed as a witness to Tom’s revised will. Gayle as heir owed everything to the Church and it will be the beneficiary of the largest match making fee in the history

Her nice big house in Old Met looks essentially abandoned. The lawn and garden look terrible and are overgrown with weeds. Paper temporary shades still hang in the windows and are all ripped up from either wear and tear or a dog shredding them. Needs a paint job. She has totally neglected the house and it gives the appearance of an Owner who does not care whatsoever how it looks. I don’t think she’s there very often. If she would’ve run the team like she runs this house, fans dodged a bullet when Tom ran her up the road for allegedly getting into it with Gayle..

It was more than “getting into it” and it was in front of folks too. She went off, was becoming physical, etc. Tom Also knew of the affair and of the drugs.
To the dude who said his buddy dated her, if it’s the guy who she was always with, that dude was window dressing and it seems like he knew it. If he was taking one for the team, my hat’s off to him. Lord knows I would have done it too.

I knew a bunch of her assistants and they all hated their life. She’d come in through the owners entrance, most likely disheveled, and they’d have to go grab her take out or go get food from the cafeteria so she couldn’t be seen. She’d always sit in a corner when the old man would hold meetings, looking distant. She kept her suites on the third level so that Mr B wouldn’t see the bullshite she would be doing. Apparently she was getting high in the suite with Lenny Kravitz and likely Sydney the last game of the season when she found out Gayle would be taking over and went apeshit.

I remember the days between 2006 to 2010 when the media was writing all these feel good stories about her, that she has an amazing work ethic, is a do gooder for the community, a future NFL owner that is female, empowering women, etc. she was on a pedestal.
Then around 2011/2012 you never heard about her. She disappeared. I vaguely remember that she was put in time out by grandpa for a couple years. She never recovered.
Probably all those feel good stories about her were BS or a fraud.
