Ship him out. Once a WR acts the arse, there's never getting the genie back in the bottle.

I for one am happy about this thread. It separates the people who know nothing about football from the people who know what they are talking about like goat and BigBrod.

Well maybe that’s because he hasn’t taken a snap in over a season in a half because of his dumbass, selfish decision to put off his surgery 6 weeks later than he was supposed to…

He was told when to have his surgery so the timeline had him back before the season started.

He chose to put it off nearly two months.

Is that enough rational proof?

He will draw zero trade interest because of this. Once WR sits on the shelf they become stale. It'd be better for the Saints if they could rehab his attitude. He will need a strong veteran personality QB to keep him in check.

Yeah as much as I’d prefer for us to get rid of him I agree that a team would have to be desperate for a WR1 to give him a shot.

And we’re already in that situation.

I mean I agree, but when has that stopped them before?

The Jimmy Graham trade comes to mind.. even if he fell apart after we traded him. I forgot what we got for him though

MT is our only chance at getting a big name QB

Not really. In fact some QBs might not want to deal with him at this point. The defense, Kamara, and Sean Payton are the enticing factors. If MT came around then that's a major plus. I don't think any major QB is dumb enough to place his future in the hands of MT.

To maximize it for the Saints long term you have to trade him after June 1st I believe, to remove majority of dead money. Draft will be over by then. Although, a team desperately could need a WR and be willing to give up some pieces. I would trade him, draft a good WR or two and roll on. This team and locker room is sound.

I appreciate the shout out homie. Much respect. You are a solid poster as well.

It's becoming much more difficult to get real football conversations on this board with all the shite posting that occurs. Don't sell yourself short though. You are definitely one of the solid posters who still post on this board.

Hard to get value for a guy with his contract and who hasn’t played in 2 years.

Why would you want to trade a player of Thomas's caliber when the return is so low right now with him coming off injury? This is not the time to trade him if you're wanting to receive fair value for his talent.

There is no objectivity with Thomas for some. There are def tons there to be mad about.

He put off injury while simultaneously ignoring him playing through injuries to try and Win for Drew.

But these people also seem to think Mike hated Drew because of a disagreement. Those same people also talk shite about Drew as well. Its a total mind frick.

Our best scenario is for Mike to be playing for us. Regardless if we like his personality or not.

I'll take the extra 1st and other picks and get a great WR and a great OT in this draft absolutely! Trade him to the Jets or another shitty team get as high of a pick as you can.
