I like the linebacker we drafted.

Everyone else seems like a reach, but who knows? I thought Kamara was a reach.

Yep. I realized that. You get shite on if you think one player is better than who the saints picked.

You poor thing.

Thats a terrible take. IMO the Saints have been one of the best at talent evaluation & finding hidden “gems” in later rounds in the NFL.

I love the D’Marco pick. He’ll be a contributing role player for the next 8 years

According to who? You?

No offense, but I'll put my trust into those who have researched and scouted these players for months, if not years instead.

I get what you are saying. I really do.

However. The mocks are clearly shite. They are never close to right- especially in the late rounds. Also, the guys making these picks are managing a dynamic situation in real time, with minutes to make a decision. They also know more about these things than any slapnuts on this forum. So posters look kinda stupid when they bitch about players they really don’t know anything about, selected by a team of people who forgot more about football than they ever knew.

They were taking Brisker there. Chicago got him one pick ahead. That left them no time to trade back, and they had no mid round picks, so they took the next highest rated DB on their board. I’m not sure they were willing to walk away from this draft without a highly rated Safety. I understand the move.

Can't believe we didn't follow the media line.

As long as they become productive players, I really don't give a shite where they were drafted, and neither should you. Let it play out... if they suck, then we can discuss who we should've taken instead.

Nothing against Taylor but we could have got him way later than we did

That's the price of moving up again to 11.

To me not having a 3rd and a 4th was lame but at the same time they had to move up when they did or be willing to settle for the next tier at receiver.

Jackson out of App St has some upside I think.

I'm guessing we may make a few other moves because of the cap space we have?

What people think is mostly off? So the Safety we took in the 2nd round is a projected 4th round pick.

He was described as a Gardner type. So maybe he is right there but a little raw meaning maybe he is better in zone than man to man.

He is a safety net if Gardner gets injured.

Seems Landry or Badger may be in play. Would be crazy if it happens with either one.

D’Marco Jackson out of App St is gonna be a hell of a player for us. He and Pete Werner are gonna be mainstays in the years to come!!!!
