nah it is but to each their own.

Like others have said we’ll see the details of the contract first and guaranteed money involved

The guaranteed money in this deal is probably a lot less than that. There are likely some incentives built in, and the third deal is probably a team option.

True. Notable that the source is his agency, which means they're going to show the highest possible number.

yes let’s see what the contract actually winds up being.
it could be two years and a team option or it could be a non-guarantee in year two or three

The minute distribution just got a lot more complicated. You gotta assume Hart will play at least 28mpg.

He is the ultimate bench energy guy. Not an overpay at all.

Nice!

Now get him his Vinson time and let’s get ourselves our own Danny Green!

Damn overpaid a guy that doesn’t really want to be here and had no other market by about 4-5 million a year.

Yikes. Hope that contract is still tradeable so we can add another shooter in his slot.

In all seriousness, this probably doesn’t hurt us, but it does complicate the minutes situation quite a bit. We are going to have to play the guy we pay 13 million a year to retain his trade value.

Gonna have to pull minutes from Kira, Naji, Sato, and maybe even Murphy (although I think he needs at least 15-20 mins a night regardless of who is on the roster.)
