We're two days from the lottery, so I figure we can do with more lottery talk around here. This lottery feels bigger and more important than previous lotteries. I'm hoping Griff brings us some more lottery luck. Could take us from a fringe playoff team to western conference powerhouse.

Now if we landed the number two overall pick, which prospect are you taking with it?

Mobley is universally considered the second best prospect, some think in a tier slightly above Green and Suggs. But would you take him with Jaxson already on the team? Or would you draft for need and take the guard/wing? If so, which one (Suggs or Green)?

I personally think Zion and Mobley fit perfectly on the defensive side, the offensive fit would depend on how Mobley's shot develops. He shot 30% from 3 but 70% from the FT line.

I keep going back and forth on this, so I'd rather hear yall's thoughts on this hypothetical.

Not Mobley. I know he’s good, but that’s too much investment in big men in a perimeter oriented league. I also think Kuminga is very intriguing. From a body standpoint, he’s a lot of what we need and though his offense is raw, if it develops he will be scary.

Same. Probably ends up wrong but I go with Green and try to shoot teams out the gym. Athletically there is no reason he can't become a 2 way player.

I like all 3, but Mobley is redundant with Hayes and Green seems to have higher upside than Suggs.

Green has Westbrook level athleticism, plus a smooth 3 point jumper. He also spent the G League season playing with savvy vet Jarrett Jack instead of a bunch of future insurance salesmen on Gonzaga.

You know Gonzaga’s entire starting 5 will get drafted right?

And even if they don’t all make it in the league, every one of them will likely be millionaires before 30 playing overseas.

Green and its not close. Cunningham is more polished right now, but Green will be the best player in this class. Has all the tools to be elite and consistent All-star early in his career.
If we got the 2nd pick, u keep it. Cost controlled for a number of years and allows team to add depth instead of paying near max or max for player right now.
Green can help this team now off the bench and be a solid 6th man with NAW starting.

BPA and you take Mobley. Green is a edwards type guy that is going to be a street ball player, Suggs is probably a better fit but doesn’t have near the upside that Mobley has. If you are worried about them being redundant, then Hayes goes on the block with some picks to get another guard.

Green without a doubt and with no hesitation.
The pick would be in the second the Pels went on the clock.

I only watched Green a handful of times and I wasn't blown away like everyone else seems to be. Also, it is a complete unknown if the G league is going to help players develop vs going to college. Even that developmental team, which coddled prospects. There was no sense of urgency or anything to lose. I'm not saying the players got worse. We just don't know if it had a better impact than going to school.

Suggs is the best prospect in the draft to me. Prototype PG prospect. If he is there at 2 and we have the pick, I run to the podium. Suggs and Zion would be an unbelievable combo (ala Paul and West)..

Mocks are all over the place, especially after the top 5. I don't know if guys just want to look smart or if there is any juice to what they are projecting. I was seeing Mann in the top 12, now he is not even being drafted. Wagner went from the teens to 7. Maybe it will start to level out after the combine and workouts. But it is a guessing game right now. I have seen Duarte all through the first. It's a loaded class of combo guards..

Id lean Suggs over te two G league guys, but wouldnt hate any of the,

Suggs would likely quickly emerge as the vocal leader of this team, and doesn't need the volume of shots that a Green or Kumninga would demand but can still get off when called upon to do so. I think he's also a better shooter and can get to the line more, with better efficiency

Drafting Mobley would be a Pels move though
