I’m not talking about because he’s LSU but he seems like perfect vet to mentor our young guys. He’s always done everything the right way and he’s still a productive bench player this late in his career. Just hoping Griff doesn’t ship him out on a salary dump. He could teach NAW, Kira and the rest the rest of the young guys a lot of great lessons to make them better on and off the court.

I didn't know he was still playing and thought he was joining the coaching staff. If he plays any major minutes, we are in trouble..

Good veteran in the locker room. Got more than I expected though. At this point in his career, he is closer to a minimum guy.

He’s a dog. He’s gonna hold everyone in the locker room accountable for on & off court performance. Also gonna teach some guys how to play D, which we haven’t had since Monty left. Plus he’s cheap!!!!!

I’ll be honest, if he hadn’t gone to LSU I wouldn’t really know who he was other than he’s an old NBA player.

That being said, he’s had to fight to stay in the league and I respect the hell out of him as a player. I hope our young players can see how hard he works and learn from his experiences/example.

I’ll gladly take $5 mil per over 2 seasons to have a culture changing guy on our bench. He will hold everyone accountable. He’s made it 14 years in the league on art play and good leadership. Zion and BI should learn a lot from him.

Y’all acting like we signed Robert Horry and you’d be literally melting over the acquisition of he played his college ball at Oklahoma State.

It’s a decent acquisition but take your purple and gold blinders off.

I don't understand how he was part of the trade, if he was a FA. Also, I don't think he plays. But if he is on the roster, are we carrying 4 PGs? 7 total guards?

It’s amazing that Sean Payton allowed this to happen.

He’s a good guy, but he offers nothing as an actual player at this point unfortunately. I think Sato could be a sneaky good acquisition for us assuming we actually keep him.

I like the signing for all the above reason and i think Sato is a lot better than he gets credit for, glad to have them both.

How crazy is it that Lazare is a player development coach and Temple is still in the league?
