What a collapse by the Kings in this game to hurt the Pels.

Unfortunately we won’t know the result of the Wolves/Suns game Sunday before we play, just have to go at home and beat the Lakers arse

Welp suns might not bother trying for 6 seed anyway now if reward is Nuggets.

Can't imagine any team would intentionally lose with the risk of facing the Warriors or Lakers in a win or go home game.

Of all the seasons to earn the 6th seed versus being a play-in team. Three top teams all with the same good record

Can someone clarify the Lakers tiebreakers with the Kings and Warriors?

Mainly, if they have both tiebreakers, are they locked into the 8 seed with nothing to play for in the final game?

Lakers can finish 8, 9, or 10. They lose both tie breakers. The Kings have it over both the Lakers and Warriors and end the season with the Blazers. Pretty sure what happens in a three-way tie-breaker is that the Kings would end up at 8, Warriors 9, Lakers 10.

Dallas is locked into the 5th spot so likely rests a lot of players and OKC wins that. Denver has Memphis and likely win that. If we beat LA, it would be better for the Suns to beat the Wolves to avoid Denver in round 1. Crazy the impact the Spurs have had on seeding over the past two weeks.

If the suns beat the t-wolves then they may end up facing them in the 3-6 matchup (assuming a Pels loss). Coincidentally, if we win too, then we could end up with the T-Wolves (assuming Denver wins in both scenarios)

Im confused as to why NBA radio on Sirius is saying the Pels locked up the 6 seed last night even though the suns won.

What an odd playoff situation we are facing.

I would absolutely LUV for the Pelicans...after the play-in is over...to be sitting in the 8-hole for the actual playoffs. And it could easily happen. Just a L/L/W scenario over our next 3 games. (Plus...Suns beat Wolves tomorrow, of course)

Then...we take on the Thunder & after we hammer them...we've got the winner of Clippers/Mavs. Then...AND ONLY THEN...I'll worry about the Joker in the finals of the Western Conference.

Gimme that 8-hole !!!!

You take 6 or better whenever you can get it no matter the opponent

No way do you want play in
