I did nail it. I said the initial take will be nothing structural. It was. I hope BI gets back on the court Wednesday. I will just believe it when I see it. All trust in these guys is completely gone.

Nah bunch you know I frick with you but saying oh they will say there’s nothing structural he will be evaluated in 2 weeks and then get scoped is not the same as calling this

That’s not what happened at least so far

But I will believe BI is fine when I see him on the court.

I mean I get it. I understand the injury history of the franchise but even within that history, last year, especially if you factor in CJ’s injury, was just straight up an outlier. We were the most injured team in the league and it wasn’t close

Yes we have seen seemingly small injuries last a long time. I just don’t think that will necessarily always be the case. But yea I get history isn’t on our side with BI and injuries

I think for me its the mentality of a player more. If CJ can play through stuff, that means this is not really a training staff call. Although I could be wrong. I just wish BI had more of a tougher mindset when it comes to these things.

If it was something more serious, we would have known before now. This was always the likely outcome. I bet he sits another couple of games and comes back

Well I do think it’s important to note the stress and pressure associated with leg injuries, and especially lower leg/foot injuries, that are simply not associated with hand injuries like CJ’s.

Like yes CJ had to use his hand while hurt, but that’s nothing compared to the risk associated with putting all your body weight on, running on, and cutting on a leg injury

And they can afford to because their team is still solid without them.

Bro we got blown out at home by the Warriors on a B2B without a starter and top rotation guy. We are not good enough to take any game for granted or "afford" our #1/#2 to miss time because he is "sore."

I don't mind BI or any player for that matter sit out a game because they felt something not right with their body. You don't want someone out there playing not knowing if something is wrong, it'd be one thing if he knew what was wrong and is deciding to play through it. But until you know what's wrong, take a game off and get more info.

But now that he's gotten it checked out and everything is fine I expect him to be on the court. If that's what happens than all of this is a nothing burger.

Besides CJ, I could point to plenty of players that play through knee soreness. I get the precaution, but I do feel like a lot of this is on the player as well. And as we heard before BI is extremely cautious when playing through stuff.

Also with our depth issues, I don’t think we can afford BI missing longer than a week or two. We saw that last night, where without Trey and Jose as well we don’t have enough scoring.

It’s one game man. This team on paper should be good enough to win at least some games without Ingram. It just should.

And if we want to be a top team (which I think we do), resting for soreness WILL happen

Yes.

Nothing structural (as I SAID), nothing on the MRI.

He is listed as questionable
