In that same clip KG said doctors told him he had a hole in his heart and he was like I don’t care I’m playing lol. I’m sorry but that’s just moronic to risk dying playing basketball lol

that was awesome from KG, and so true from todays generation.

the kids now a days just believe whatever the doctors say and make everything out to be worst than it is. I see it with youth kids all the time, it's like they want the attention of being hurt. I put an end to that shite when i coach. I tell my kids if you're hurt and the game has to stop b/c you don't want to get up, you're coming out of the game and you aren't going back in. Toughen the frick up or you can sit on the side and watch.

As KG said, if you want to suit up, then suit up, nobody can stop you from playing.

And what would happen if all these professional athletes only got paid for when they played in a game? Maybe most of these "injuries" would suddenly disappear.

Very responsible thing to tell other people's kids as a coach when they may actually be hurt.

Yeah I agree. You shouldn’t be treating youth kids the same as paid professional adults. Its kind of strange he’s bragging about treating children that way.

KG probably not the right dude to supply that message lol. Also depends on the age, but he's not entirely wrong.

Kids at, say, 12 and under playing in rec leagues, I'd bet 99% of the injuries I've seen, the kid goes down, maybe cries, and before he even gets back to the bench he's 100% ok. And obviously not saying it's never happened, but this isn't like adults testing their bodies to the absolute limits, I haven't ever seen a real bad injury that keeps a kid out for even the rest of his game much less more time than that at age levels below 12 over the past few years I've been around and somewhat involved in it.

But I do agree, KG maybe accidentally correct, as that's probably not what he meant

Nobody thats ever played an extended period for this franchise, except for maybe JV, has ever stayed healthy.

David West and Chris Paul would be considered iron men on these teams.

The longer they wait, the more pessimistic I get about this.

If it was nothing we likely know very quickly.

They almost certainly did a MRI already and know what the deal is.

Again I think Willie knew last night and said nothing but update tomorrow. If it was day to day or nothing serious he would have said so. I’m expecting it to be something like hes out a month or more. I also have a feeling the team may have found out too which may explain the lack of energy last night.

I'm already expecting it to be 2024 before we see BI again.

This sucks so much, BI is one of my favorite Pels, however I am so over the "injuries" I am almost fully on board with moving him.

Sad part is nobody would be slightly surprised if he had a broken toe nail that resulted in a season ending injury.
