The time he took to come back from "injury" last year did me in. He was cleared for what seemed like weeks before he came back.

At that point I have always thought he isn't a part of our long term future and that we should consider a trade for better fitting pieces.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s two weeks. Then it’ll take him another two weeks to get back to his old self

Brandon Ingram got an MRI. Nothing structurally wrong with knee. He will be listed as questionable tomorrow.

That's about as good as we could hope for.

Probably 5% chance he plays tomorrow though

Here's me from earlier in this thread:

Predict the BI update.

I say nothing structural, re-evaluated in 2 weeks.

After the 2 weeks, he is still experiencing soreness so they do a scope. Out 8-12 weeks

It begins

What we need to know is does he feel like himself? I believe that is the medical standard they used last year.

Yeah this smells exactly like the toe thing last year where he was medically cleared for weeks yet sat out due to not feeling like himself

Forget bringing in a Physical Therapist. They should have brought in KG to be head trainer. These guys would be too scared to get hurt.

I will say that if you listen to Willie talking about it, he did not seem to be concerned or dancing around the injury.

Video clip.

I should be happy thats its nothing long term, but it leads to one of out best players being finnicky about little injuries. CJ throwing up in the arena and playing. Like seriously man wth.

This is quite literally the best possible outcome we could have gotten outside of “he will definitely play tomorrow”

Except this is BI. We know him, we have seen this story before.

He will miss at least 4-6 games.

We want to be a top team in the west.

If you look historically, stars on top teams sitting out 1 or 2 games for soreness is incredibly common

And they can afford to because their team is still solid without them.

Obviously the Pels were not solid last night, but I don’t see anything inherently wrong with being cautious

He didn't even make it to game 3 this year like last season's "concussion." At least he picked a pivotal early season homestand to miss

Willie Green said nothing concerning popped up on scans so crisis averted

This is not an official report that he's out 4-6 games.

This is the doom and gloom hot take after the initial doom and gloom hot take did not come to fruition. Eventually, Bunchie will get it right and tell us he nailed it, we just need to see if it'll be on the 2nd or maybe 3rd or 4th attempts.

I did nail it. I said the initial take will be nothing structural. It was.

I hope BI gets back on the court Wednesday. I will just believe it when I see it.

All trust in these guys is completely gone.

Since this is the BI injury thread, can you copy one of the tweets to the OP?

How would I do that? You're the admin and I didn't start this thread.
