If this was released in 2018, it would look bad for Hayes. In 2021, he will probably make more money from the excessive force lawsuit he is going to file then his NBA salary.

Yeah i'm not going to believe the word of whatever idiot was filming. There's a long history of these idiots blatantly lying. I'm not saying the cops were right here, or wrong, don't know yet, but i do know that you don't fight with cops under any circumstance. Doesn't matter if you think they are in the wrong or not, it's a stupid decision. If you want to assume the cops were in the wrong and started it, Jaxson certainly escalated the situation by being a dumbass. You're not above the law, and you're not the boss of the cops.

I want the Pels to stick by Jaxon and not worry about PR bullshite. Jaxon Hayes is good at basketball and he's getting better. frick letting him go to sign elsewhere and be a fricking star so we can say we stood by PR morals and shite.

As more and more of this comes out, I see no risk that he loses time. At worst, it will plea down to misdemeanor. I suspect it's going to go away entirely.

In this day and age, it does not look good for 3 cops to be laying on a guy while continuing to taser him. It might have been necessary from the cops point of view, but it looks really bad from the PR side.

so you are ok with the decision to fight with cops, even if you think they are wrong?
How long did it take for the body cam footage to come out from the dumbass receiver from LSU who did a bit of fabricating about his side of the story? We had our idiot mayor and chief of police just chomping at the bit to go after the cops for that one, and what happened?
WHy would you assume b/c the body cam footage wasn't immediately released it means the cops were wrong? it's always wrong to fight with cops, regardless of your reason. If they were wrong, you'll come out of it smelling like roses when the officer cam is released, but you escalating it by fighting them immediately makes things worse for you, and you no longer come out of it smelling like roses.
Remember the incident Jrue's wife talked about with Jrue?. Cops were wrong, Jrue was a mature and respectful member of society during his altercation. Had he gone all "when keeping it real goes wrong", he'd have painted himself in a bad light, instead he comes out of it even more likeable b/c he didn't handle it like a complete dumbass.

What you see in the video isn’t bad for either party
Where did he assault the policeman?
Why were the policeman called there to begin with?
For Jaxson, where is the video of the policeman kneeling on his neck?
These are the things that will determine his future as a Pelican

Everything I've pointed to is pretty much about the use of excessive force. There's no gray area here. 3 cops with Hayes in a compromised position and tased near the heart. Do you know that could have had life long effects for Hayes to be tased like that?
This is the same LAPD who have plenty of history with excessive force. You're defending this bullshite says everything I need to know about you brah. And it's sad to see you approve of this bullshite regardless of him resisting. They are trained better than this. He was unarmed and wasn't on the attack.
By no means is Hayes right for resisting but the actions taken by the cops is unnecessary and for good reason prompted the internal investigation.

Watch it on mute without all the yelling. They are actually kind of gentle with him considering how large of a man he is. At the end you can kind of see the office potentially kneeling around his neck

yeah i had some shite this morning but i was going to say this video is neutral, overall. it's bad for Jaxson (he's clearly resisting but not likely in a felony manner) and bad for the cops (they fricked up a bunch)
the crucial evidence is the 5 minutes or so before that video. the cops' behavior can be justified by those 5 minutes or they could be engaging in their own criminal behavior. clearly the alleged felony behavior of Jaxson occurred prior to that video (or else there is no case whatsoever against him).

The only thing i know about this video that i disapprove of is Jaxson resisting arrest. Doesn't matter what happened before it, that's a dumb arse decision. You can certainly see a cop kneeling/squatting around that area toward the end of the video.
