I’m sure the cops can release their footage at any time.

I have a feeling this is a case where both sides were in the wrong.

Quite possible ... Or it could make them look worst ... The only thing we know fire sure is what's on video ... Wait and see i guess

I mean they appear to arrrst/detain the cameraman but California is definitely a state where recording an arrest is protected under the first amendment.

I think it is not a good look when the friend who is filming is told by the cops to back off or he will end up like Hayes ... Lol

It's legal to film the police anywhere in public. That's not a California thing...

The fact that tmz has released footage prior to any release of bodycam footage from lapd makes me lean toward jaxson getting off of this one.

If the body cam footage exonerated the police and showed jaxson in a bad light it would have been released within 24 hours. There’s literally no excuse to not release it. Police release bodycam footage within 24 hours all the time when it shows them acting 100% appropriately.

Hayes fought of like 20 taser shots and was still trying to stand ... if he has that kind of fight in him on the court, look out.

For who? The cops?

That cop sounded like such a bitch.

I would be TOTALLY shocked if the LAPD did not act with proper authority. It's the LAPD after all!

Since this was videoed by Jaxson’s friend and sent to TMZ, I’m going to assume this clip is showing the best version for Jaxson. The truth is still going to be somewhere in between. Relative to other assault and resisting arrests, this seems fairly tame. The only thing I take from the clip is that it feels that this will end up as a misdemeanor for Jaxson at worst as it doesn’t look like any of the injuries were really that bad for anyone involved. No matter what though, this isn’t a good look for anyone involved and doesn’t instill much confidence in Jaxson’s maturity.

I'm sorry but you don't taser a man on the chest near his heart while 3 cops have him apprehended.

I'm sorry, when police show up and tell you to stop trying to force your way into a home, repeatedly, you'll suffer the consequences, especially when you resist arrest.
It doesn't matter if you think the cops are wrong for arresting you or not, resisting it is 100% of the time a dumb arse decision.

The person who filmed the video said Hayes was stopping the cops from entering.it disputes the cops claim of Hayes reentry attempt. Two sides to the story here.
