We just tear it up with Ingram

You act like we are trying to win games. If we were Zion would be playing more than 26-28 minutes a night

If we could get anything of Value for CJ and get off of most of his contract I would do it in an absolute heartbeat.

I don't see it happening. No one is giving up shite for him, and if they are, significant long term money is coming back

Hopefully he stays healthy and puts up insane numbers. Maybe a team gets desperate over the summer and we get something good.

We need to try very hard to swap Brown for Capella. Likely as a three team trade sending Brown somewhere else if possible. Turning BI into Capella and Olynyk, along with a first and second would be way better than I ultimately expected. I’m just not sure what the Hawks are looking for here.

The only way I move Zion is for Devin Booker or another 2025 Top 3 pick.

Edit: This assumes we have a shot at Flagg/Bailey/Harper

How would we get Capella for Brown. I would not attach assets to do a deal.

I’m not sure. But maybe if a team is willing to trade an expiring and a second for brown, that could be routed for Capella. Maybe we would have to throw our second in there too, I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to but would consider.

All this with the idea that we could behind the scenes have a lower extension somewhat sorted.

At this point, now that BI is gone, we need an unbelievable package for Zion to trade him away.
His contract long term looks very good compared to what the league will be going to. top level players getting 60-70m.

Im looking at him as a value chip now vs actually playing as our "star".

no way i trade Jose

Brandon Miller + Miles Bridges + 25' 1st + 27' 1st DAL + 31' 1st Lakers

Would be quite the package.
Trade CJ for Holland in DET

Herb /Murray/ Reeves
B Miller/ Hawk/ Boston
M Bridges/ R Holland/
Trey/
Missi/ Karlo/

2 top 10 picks and a big TPE from CJ. We would have a full rebuilt roster by the start of the season.

We could move him for Reaves, Hachimura, and Williams (from the Hornets). I'd like that move..

Ugh, don't like that. I like Williams but definitely don't want Reaves as a centerpiece for any trade for Zion. He's worth more than that, regardless of how much people can't stand him here.

Turning a 27 year old who is averaging 22/5/5 on 37% from 3 and 86% from the FT line and is capable of creating his own shot anytime he wants for a declining 33 year old center and a 30 year old center who can't play at the end of games b/c he can't defend or shoot FT's and also is the type of center that we've proven doesn't work with Zion, as well as a late 1st round pick was a good trade.

Dan just initially forgot to include him in his lineup dog. I was just making sure he wasn't proposing that we also trade him

Or, Zion can only manage those minutes because despite having veins in his biceps, he lacks the cardiovascular fitness to maintain those sort of minutes for an entire nba season

OR we are tanking, have no reason to over play him and risk injury, and you are dumb.
