I saw that, before the season, 538 still had him projected as a future all-star.
I think that a lot of the hype is just his last name and draft position.
It's still true that Lonzo has that potential, but it just looks like he lacks the drive and determination to improve -- he's a wuss.

frick yeah I'd take that from the Mavs. Anything that gets him off this team and frees up minutes for NAW and Kira. If I get a prospect like Tyler Bey back that's just gravy.

Powell would be a massive addition. He can back up two spots, PF/C, which are huge needs. I really liked Bey coming into the draft. He is a big time athlete. So those two for Ball fills two pretty big holes. I would be alright with it..

I often think about what if the Lakers had taken Fox instead of Lonzo and he was the one in the AD trade with Ingram.
