The warriors they don't have a tiebreaker over anyone in a tie scenario.

The Warriors are so strange. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a playoff team only win 9 road games all year. I wonder why their game doesn’t travel on the road. The Oracle is a special place, but they won’t make it out of the first round with their road play.

Just enough help to tease us before being screwed by Matt Ryan in L.A. and blowing a 20pt lead in GSW

I see what you are doing trying to jinx us into the win. While I normally don’t appreciate this level of negativity, I’ll give you a thumbs up for doing your part.

That's gonna save us from staying away from the 5 seed and put us into the 6 seed.

Higher odds to get the 5 or 6 seed than any play in spot. I'll take it.

Really need Utah to fight until the end. A Utah win over LAL would be so nice.

The NBA does a lot of shite wrong, but the play-in game has got to be one of their best ideas in a long time.

44% is not higher than 56%

This LAC/LAL game is a tricky one for us on who to root for.
We need the Clippers to lose at least 1 more game. They aren't losing to Portland, and their last game against PHX is likely going to be against scrubs. We want to be tied with the Clippers, not the Lakers, so we'd rather the Clippers win i think.
That'll keep them right behind PHX and make PHX still need to win, which they will have to do against the Lakers, but then hope PHX lose vs Denver, and then they will have to win their last game against the Clips to keep home court.

Clips would end with 39 losses and we have the tie breaker with them. Lakers would have 40 losses and that at a minimum would get us the 6th seed assuming we go 3-1 in these last 4.

Yeah, it's way too complicated. I'm not really scared on any of the play-in teams except the Lakers.

I'd also much rather play Sacto than Phx, but I think we could possibly beat either.

Sac won't get as many whistles as Phx though. Also why I hope Dallas just misses the playin.

Way too tempting for the league to get a Jokic vs Doncic/Kyrie first round.

The league has to be salivating.

Zion
SGA
Gobert/Ant/Towns
Lebron/AD
Luca/Irving
Kyrie/Westbrook

All fighting just to get out of the play-in potentially.

Think he meant for individual spots, not combined.

But on this part:

They aren't losing to Portland
There was a team Sunday that wasn't supposed to lose to Portland. Not saying likely, but shite happens. Can't assume any game is a gimme, especially after all the shite that went down Sunday.

So much for the two Jazz-Lakers games:

quote:

Source: Jazz rookie center Walker Kessler is entering concussion protocol, likely ending his season.

Kessler is expected to be an All-Rookie selection after averaging 9.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.3 blocks while shooting 72% from the floor.

I just hope there's at least ONE game on the final day...when two teams need to lose to get their most preferred playoff spot & they are playing each other. I'll be sure and watch that game...just to see which team can out-tank the other. Over/under might be 150 or so for total points. Should be fun to watch.
