It seems that in the Baton Rouge area it is on WAFB 9.3 which is called Circle. For cox cable this is channel 125. Right now they have an old college football game on.

seems like they're going to have 2-3x times less viewers for the foreseeable future.

Dude your constant complaining about this is getting old, this new format may be inconvenient for you but Ballys was horrible for ratings. That's why the games on fricking Bounce tv got better ratings than the Ballys games.

I bought a $10 antenna from Amazon connected it to my tv and got the new channel right away with a great visual quality and strong signal having this free option is so much better than having to put up with Ballys BS.

I’m sorry, but if you stream and live in the capital city of the state, you very likely do not have an option to get the game and would be pretty pissed. Fox channels through an antenna has long been an issue here. The ratings are a media play. They are stating that the channel is available to more viewers, when it was available to most of those viewers prior on Ballys. They just didn’t watch it either way.

Now I do hope for the best. I do hope for the day games are played at bars via things like direct tv etc. and I hope they add a streaming option. But as for tonight, I can not watch the game short of an illegal stream. That’s terrible for a fan that has spent 20 years having to go out of their way to find the damn game. This isn’t that complicated.

Mea Culpa,

Watched the game last night with the antenna that came with my flatscreen. Good sound and picture, got to hear Joel and AD, and did not pay a red cent ... works for me. Pet peeve of mine is the general increase of whiners and complainers. Well, apparently that applies to me too....

If you have cox cable, you can watch the Pelican games in Baton Rouge. It is on channel 125.

Some of the HD antennas don’t do a good job of catching VHF channels. You need to be aware of what it can receive the best, VHF, UHF, or DTV.

Just installed my antenna and GCESN is coming in crystal clear!

Went to Best Buy and got the Best Buy brand $20 antenna. It only has a 35 mile range, but I’m in the Lower Garden District so it’s good enough for me.

Don’t know if this has been answered yet but what channel will Cox Lafayette broadcast the games on?

I would also greatly appreciate it if someone could share what channel GCSEN will be on Cox in Lafayette.

I'm just going to wait it out and hope they strike a deal with Youtube TV. I have a service like that to get local channels so I find it ridiculous in the year of our lord 2024 I would have to run a chord across my living room to an antenna in a window to watch a game. But whatever. Off my lawn.

I'm assuming the game will be on 125 in Baton Rouge, but it wasn't showing up on the guide.

It doesn't show up on my OTA channel either, and it didn't when the preseason game was on it, but it was still on that channel.

Yes, looking for this too. Last year the games on Gray were on 16 for REV. The channel guide has no mention of Pelicans games though…
