Fred Van Vleet killed Quinn.
Quinn looks like will get obliterated on screens as long as he is in the NBA. and Diallo wasnt able to do much to help. to be fair, the team help defense was atrocious on PnR, which summer league.
not too sure Diallo can guard backup 4s, who are usually quicker and stretchier. but it's worth a look.
Young turns 22 in a month. that is appealing. and i guess the UK connection. but i agree that he just didnt look particularly good.

Soooooo...I think you can pretty much assume the roster we have will be the roster we have. Minor changes but I expect they are relying on AD/DC being great and hoping on a trade or something in season.
Because you can pretty much put a fork in Free Agency.

I mean I'm really not trying to be impatient but this is starting to be comically ridiculous. We are never included as a potential suitor for anyone which may be by design, we have missed/passed on so many guys that are logical fits. I mean it seems that we, as fans, know talent fits better than the FO (clearly an exaggeration but still!)
I get that we are working on the trade market. If we cannot wait around forever and need to start being aggressive otherwise we'll be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for talent.
AD/DC are going to have to put up world class numbers nightly at this rate
OK that was a longer rant than intended

Ok now, I've always considered myself as the king of hyperbole. Don't start trying to dethrone me.

I think we hurt his feelings, of which he claims to have none of.

Paying Jrue all that money and having $20-$30 million tied up in bad contracts and not being able to go into the tax make it hard to go after anyone.
This season working out probably means getting good production from Diallo, Cook, Crawford and Miller plus improvement from Hill.

What a great plan from Dell.

Assuming healthy, is this our line up (assuming we keep cunningham).
PG: Holiday/Cook/Jackson
SG: Moore/Crawford/Ghost of QPon
SF: Hill/Cunningham/Spirit of QPon
PF: Davis/Cunningham/Diallo
C: Cousins/Diallo/Ajinca
There's a lot of shooting to be desired...we'd definitely need to slow the pace down like Utah

You're forgetting Darius Miller. If he does what he did as a Hornet plus knocks down open shots like he became elite at in Germany, he can be new QPon.

This entire sentence was just depressing lol.

No, what's depressing is that appears to be the plan. I'm not sure what to think of MM's recent info at this point, but I can definitely see Gentry and Demps disagreeing about Nick Young vs. Darius Miller.

Don't give up hope in sharpshooters Toupane and Young. :)

Ya I wouldn't be mad about Miller being the 5th backup guard but having Quinn and Miller get large minutes off the bench. Oh boy.
I never thought I would be praying so hard that Ty Lawson can get his life together and QPon grows another knee.
A guard rotation of Jrue/Moore then ... Cook, Crawford, and (Miller/Young) off the bench has to be at least top 3 worst guard rotations in the league. If not, the worst.
Then consider Hill and (Miller/Young) also serve as your backup wings.... and I'm starting to shite my pants.

There's a reason Lin for a 1st has become appealing.

Shame on me for having some optimism coming into this offseason given that it seemed Dell and rest of the staff saw the same obvious holes/needs on the roster that we all saw...shooting. Surround the two best big men in the league, who must be doubled, with shooters to kick out to. Seemed so obvious.
Dell went out and got us Darius Miller.
