What would a S/T for Hood look like I wonder

Who is the “sources” tweet from?
Anyway. The only way to get him is to severely overpay so they don’t match (which we can’t do) or S&T.
I actually like Hood despite his shortcomings. I really think he can be a player. He was a player if you’re going to take a chance on instead of Hill. But we can’t afford to do that now. We need the flexibility for next season.

Cleveland is in a rebuild. So they want young players and picks, or for teams to take on bad deals.

I wonder if Ajinca/Diallo would be enough to make Cleveland not match.

Would prefer to do Beverly trade first and then maybe Wes Johnson and something to Cleveland for Hood

I'm not completely against it, but I remember giving a nice little contract to another 25 year old SF that hasn't really worked out. Plus we are just now getting some financial breathing room, is Hood the guy we want to lock in? Unless it's a really good price, I'll pass

If that’s even true, I think y’all are overselling the financial liability. I think it would look more like 3/21 or something. Nothing to freak out about our future over.

He looked much better in Utah because they have a defined system. In Cleveland the system was you get the ball when LeBron decides you get it. Hood didn't work well with that.
I feel like we have a much more structured offensive and defensive system (albiet different than Utah's), so he may look closer to how he looked in Utah.

It’s either small enough for the Qpon trade exception or you’ll have to pay them to take Ajinca.

Another guy that can create his own shot on this team would be nice. The real question is if he can get better defensively.

Who the hell sent this tweet? A legit source or Incarcerated Bob?
Edit: some dude named "Ross" from "Legion Hoops".

I wouldn't mind at a reasonable price because I like his game and Cleveland is incompetent but I'm taking this with a tablespoon of salt.
Posted on 7/10/18 at 8:54 pm to LosLobos111
Gonna need a more concrete source than that
Posted on 7/10/18 at 8:57 pm to LesGeaux45
Guess that’s why the source wasn’t included.

I’d give them their choice of Frank Jackson or Diallo and work in that trade exception. Offer something around 2 yrs 11mil. I’d rather keep Aijnca to use in another deal and or let his contract expire and use it to help resign Niko and/or Randle.

Would rather keep Diallo
