I doubt BI wants to play for Steve Kerr or with Draymond Green. Not a logical destination in my mind at all.

The Sixers may have a shot at Ingram, who is expected to become available via a trade.
The 6-8, 190-pounder wants to remain in New Orleans. He’s seeking a long-term deal, and if he and the Pelicans fail to agree on one before next season, he could be traded for the final year of his current contract.
Ingram will make $36 million next season, but is eligible for a four-year extension worth up to $52 million per season this summer. But the Pelicans are “unlikely” to offer a maximum salary and will look to trade him if no deal is reached. However, their asking price has been steep.

Griff isn't giving BI away for mediocre offers.

No, I think that the Warriors may actually have to blow it all up. They didn't make the playoffs last season despite the league's highest payroll, and the new CBA rules are going to crush them and prevent them from getting better.
It's one thing for ownership to pay ridiculous tax for a team that's a perennial contender, but for a team that can't do better than 10th and a road loss in the play-in? And now for a team that's going to be worse while further hampering the team in the long term?
They really have to blow it up, which then leaves the question of what happens with Steph?
The Warriors had a great chance to extend their window, but busting out on James Wiseman ruined it.
EDIT: Their hope was in PG13 opting in with the Clips so that the Warriors could trade CP3 for him. That's gone. And Klay is gone. The Splash Bros is over. How are they not going to be 13th in the conference?

I was going to say I could see bi going to the Warriors if they missed on Paul George and got desperate.
They want to make one final run with steph and Draymond.
I just don't see bi fitting their basketball philosophy.

Plenty on this board had themselves convinced of this

Well there are only a few options:
Trade him for what you can get
Let him play out his final year and lose him for nothing
Sign him to a below max extension, something a long the lines of 4/160
Sign him to a max extension
We know Griff isn’t doing the last option, and it would be stupid to do option number 2. So you either trade him for what you can get, or he agrees to sign for something manageable and you kick the can down the road.

We need to pray that PG goes anywhere but Philly. That way we can squeeze Philly hard on an Ingram trade as he’d be the best player left on the board. No way Philly can come out of this offseason without a big splash. This is Embiid’s prime and they aren’t gonna waste that cap space on a few role players and sell that to Embiid. He would be pissed and rightfully so

Unfortunately the most we could squeeze out of them is 3 firsts and Paul Reed.

I like Paul Reed, but that would be disgusting

Reed, McCain, 2 1sts and Tobias on a 3/55 deal would not be bad at all for us. Only issue would be finding an actual starter at center, but could maybe flip those 2 1sts or 2 of our own to Utah for Kessler

Why?? I’m sorry has anyone watched him play? Hes terrible. The Pistons purposely renounced his rights. If the pistons don’t care to bring you back, that should say something.

We need a backup center as well as a starter. He’d likely be the backup.

I agree but again hes terrible even as a third center. I would rather take a flier on a young gleague guy playing well over Wiseman.

His per 36 numbers are actually really good.

I can’t say I’ve watched much of him, but Russillo was big on him in the draft and has said basically any time that he has to make a decision and not just rely on his athleticism he makes the wrong decision or doesn’t make a decision at all, which leads to not good outcomes

Go watch his gametape. Hes really bad. His defensive awareness is complete garbage. In 63 games with the pistons he could only get 6 starts on a team that had the worst collection of players in the league. There really isn’t upside here.

Give me Reed McCain and 2-3 1sts. I don’t need Tobias. You then create a large enough TPE that you can go shopping for centers using just picks. Jarrett Allen would fit in that TPE, WCJ too. If no centers you like are available you can take Capela into that TPE as a stop gap using no picks and wait till a center you love comes on the market and use Capela as expiring salary plus picks
