Relax I’m not looking for excuses but you’re talking about pecking order while paying the second best player on that team substantially more money. You don’t think that makes any difference in regards to pecking order? Come on you be serious

Do you not realize how many players on the Spurs make more than Wemby?

Not to mention all of the big deals that have ended up flops. Ones where you have one of the highest paid guys riding the bench. Kyle Lowry and what have you

Seems like Charlotte is gearing up for a big move, waiving Bertans gives them the salary cap space to absorb BI without sending anything back

The market for BI is drying up.

Problem still becomes getting a starting center and a backup 4.

Unless we expand the trade with the Hawks to get a center, which requires BI, the options of getting one for the start of the season are dropping heavily. Unless we want to chance placing a waiver on Paul Reed as a stopgap.

If we get desperate, we could just give Utah two 1sts for Kessler. We don't have to send anything out.

I honestly think that's what happens if Griff decides that all the BI offers are crap.

You know the worst thing about all this?

If we got the 2019-2021 BI on paper this team with a top 6 of Z, DM, BI, CJ, Herb and Trey would be AMAZING.

Just sucks he’s chosen to change his play style and screw up his value at the same time, and frankly it’s really all Willie’s fault. He should be fired just because we can’t trade Ingram

The worst part would be losing him for nothing after the season.

BI had the worst year in terms of boosting has value. He was terrible on the USA team and got benched, then had a mediocre year, got hurt, came back and was awful in the playoffs when he should have been the man.

He could sign a 1+1 and get to the 10 year level opening up potentially more money if he plays well.

I mean if he wants to sign with another team. Go for it. Maybe that helps us in trade talks.

Yup as great as that Dejounte trade was, hes going to have eat shite on the BI trade. I don’t think dragging this out till August will help us by any means. The market wont change for BI in late august/early September.

I’d like to think if they're stuck with BI that he’d adapt with Murray taking the ball out of his hands, but that’s what happened with Team USA and he pouted instead of adjusting.
