Eh. I think BI wants his money. If rumors are correct, Griff already offered him an extension last summer and BI passed on that for bigger payday. I think he’ll wait till free agency rather than take a smaller deal.

Only reason teams are scared to grab him. Everyone know he’s not the worth the max besides himself

Number I have heard proposed for DDR is $20m/season.
That matches up with Barnes or Huerter’s contracts.

And what doesn’t help is when the Magic reward Franz with that massive contract when he played horrible in game 7.

The Spurs are basically gonna get Harrison Barnes for free.

And if they want BI, they route him and Collins here as the salary combo.

The irony of Charlotte receiving a 1st and 2nd from us for Graham... So sad.
Eta: adding salt to the wound. That first ended up being Mark Williams. Who we would all love right now.

Could definitely see this happening. Spurs reroute Barnes and send Collins along with picks for Ingram

Foolish move considering his injury history.

I just feel the Spurs are too smart to get BI. Why would they want to lock themselves into a BI deal? And is he worth holding and flipping when he could stagnate the development of Wemby? I just don’t see BI being a Spurs guy.

I agree but the guy loves betting on himself. The smart move would have been to take the Griff extension last year.

Collin’s, Reed, and Barnes aren’t necessarily what I would prefer as centers and backup 4 but it sure works as a stopgap for this season.

A lot of Ingram’s problem here is getting handed the keys to the franchise and then needing to give the keys back. The pecking order will be better established wherever he goes next.

Maybe. But that pecking order might have some issues when BI is the highest paid player on that team.

Do be serious. First, BI playing the “Do you know how much money I make?” Card seems very unlike BI. But if he did, Pop would remind him who’s really in charge pretty quickly. You’re just looking for excuses to assume the worst because that’s the easiest path for a Pels fan.

Relax I’m not looking for excuses but you’re talking about pecking order while paying the second best player on that team substantially more money. You don’t think that makes any difference in regards to pecking order? Come on you be serious.

With that graham trade freeing up room for the spurs, do yall think they will go after BI? Also, do the spurs have anything to offer besides wemby?

Why do that? Just play on your current deal and go into free agency and pick your next suitor. Someone will have money next year and pay him.

The best we could hope from the spurs at the moment is something like BI for Collins, Johnson and a couple firsts
