Spears is reporting that the Kings are a dark horse in a DeRozen sign and trade.
Posted on 7/2/24 at 5:51 pm to supe12sta12z
That would seriously dampen the BI trade market.

That's why it was reported.

Yeah, if they wanted DeRozan (and DeRozan wanted them) over trading stuff for BI and paying him $45+ they would have already reached an agreement with DeRozan.

We would have to get something in order for the trades to “touch”, but rumors are the Jonas contract to Washington is being done as a sign and trade, so not sure what has been discussed. They very well could be discussing a sign and trade back of Tyus Jones to keep the MLE open for both teams

Not sure what GS could be sending out here, possibly Looney?

This is a good framework but Utah spent a 1st for Kessler so I imagine that Utah is going to want more than 1 first. I’m fine with paying that price to get the deal over the hump

We have been interested in Tyus from the start and they mentioned both him and Val may end up sign and trades. Zion also played b ball with Tyus Jones brother.
Its also possible Ainge or Cavs would want someone like Jose in a package instead of more picks. Which means we may be able to keep Sac picks and give our picks. That type shite

I personally hope we end up with Kessler, Tyus, WCJ, and (2) Sac picks. Carter would be a bonus.

If tweet fails to load, click here. With no tax bill this year GS will spend it all on their coaching staff

I"m sure it has nothing to do with BI, but Stack is one of BI's mentors.

I just want this shite over so I can step away from the computer

Whats this mean for warriors and lauri?

This is the Warriors’ version of saying “We have Klay at home!” Cause Buddy is Great Value Klay.

I guess it matters what the contract looks like.
76ers can afford to take back a bigger contract like Wiggins if necessary.

We may not have had the young promising players that the Jazz wanted. The Jazz got:
Those players weren’t viewed around the league as promising at the time. No one on here even wanted Lauri for Ball, he sat in free agency the year before and couldn’t get any offers. The Cavs also had been shopping Sexton for years without much luck.
You are right, they didn’t get him for nothing, but Griff could have easily beat that offer if he wanted. That trade was made for draft picks.

Yeah, I listened to that last night, along with Christian's own podcast. He said that the only way BI doesn't get traded is if Griff just absolutely hates every deal proposed to him. The chance of that is very small, but if it were to happen, he'd go back to BI's representation and work out an extension and figure out a trade later. Overall, though, he thought a deal would be done soon.
